  1. Yeah I guess I didn't word that very well. What I meant was that they may set up before Project: Ven Hell or DJ Scotch Egg play, so that punters know where to stand if they are wanting to see them play.
  2. Yeah I know it would be, but it tends to be the way they do things. I think nowadays they have their equipment set up prior to them playing so that the punters know exactly where to go if they are wanting to physically see them play. I merely said I had a suspicion that they would play there. I think the most likely place they are going to play will be on the dancefloor, which will give folk the opportunity to see them if they are above the stairs/sitting beside the barriers.
  3. I have been listening to KFC Core repeatedly in anticipation for this gig. Check out DJ Scotch Egg's music video for 'Scotch Chicken': Click Here
  4. Basically, I recorded the pieces I was playing for my Performing extension/mandatory in Music back in February, however, I did not have enough playing time in total (12-15 minutes for mandatory, 20-25 minutes for performing extension 1), meaning that the prelim is not valid. Therefore, I am rerecording everything aswell as the new pieces I am doing so that I can use it as an example for my performing prelim incase I fuck up my final exam on friday.
  5. I haven't started mines yet. Physics and adv music listening/performing prelim on Wednesday, Maths and adv music performing on Friday, and adv Biology on Tuesday.
  6. Broke my right foot yesterday. Shall be appearing in crutches and a cast. Am I fuck missing this.
  7. That line up is awful! The Radio 1/NME stage just reeks of, well, bands that NME like to kiss arses with, mainly the main suspects of the regurgitated indie shite-trend that is going on nowadays like the Kooks and the Editors. Oh well, as long as it makes money for the festival organisers, eh? The only two acts I would consider going to see would be the Who and Paul Weller, for the chance of hearing a Jam or Style Council song. Every year I see the T in the Park line-up I become more and more glad that I haven't bought a ticket for it. The ATP line up is WAY better than this pile of shite.
  8. Oooo the anger I can laugh if I fucking want. You are also entitled to finding it insensitive.
  9. Tickets aquired. Cannot wait for some KFC-Core, and a 2384923 minute version of 'Two Towers' by Lightning Bolt.
  10. ...because of the Pinball Wizard = funny!
  11. I wasn't sure to make a new thread for this because of the several E3 ones going about, but it doesn't fit into any of them. If anyone didn't manage to catch the press conference at E3, I highly suggest you go and check it out: http://uk.media.revolution.ign.com/articles/706/706429/vids_1.html new games shown include: Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) Sonic: Wild Fire (Wii) Yoshi's Island 2 (DS) New Super Mario Bros. (DS) Zelda: Twilight Princess (out for Wii and Gamecube on the same day and a launch title) Starfox DS (DS) Wii Sports (Wii) Excitetruck (DS) Diddy Kong Racing (DS, perhaps Rare are back with Nintendo?) Red Steel (Wii, check out the swordfighting) Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii) new Warioware (Wii) Project H.A.M.M.E.R (Wii) And of course, the Wii's new 'Virtual Console' feature.
  12. Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy composer) did the main theme for the game, which you can download off IGN. EDIT: I just found out that you play the game using a Gamecube controller in one of the controller ports (or the Wii's standard pad). Excellent! That means it will be an automatic 'pick up and brawl' game.
  13. ARGH I wouldn't go to this gig anyway, but why the fuck are Lemon Tree tickets so expensive? It is absolute bollocks.
  14. Fuck YES! I can't believe Pit from Kid Icarus is in it, aswell as Zero suit Samus. This game will be worth the Wii alone. And Solid Snake? wtf
  15. The reason it is so expensive is because of the Blu Ray and Cell technology shifting the cost of manufacturing a single PS3 unit to about $800. If Sony didn't have as much 3rd party support as it does, the PS3 would be completely fucked, as it is obviously relying on software sales to compensate for that huge per unit cost. Also, it's software development kit costs $20000. Compare this to the Wii's: $2000. I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii won back the hearts of huge developers such as Square-Enix and making Final Fantasy unique to one platform (maybe not a good example, ans Square-Enix are a bunch of money grabbing cunts nowadays and will obviously make it a multi platform franchise).
  16. As did I. The first episode was fucking brilliant (the Space Bug flying up that rat's arse)
  17. No it wasn't. It was extremely jazzy, just like most of his material. Rave is very repetitive (as it is intended to be danced to), whereas Squarepusher is anything but samey. Clearly you haven't listened to Feed Me Wierd Things, Alroy Road Tracks, or Ultravisitor.
  18. I may end up buying these, as I don't actually own any of the Star Wars movies on dvd. They are all on VHS. I was well pissed off I couldn't complete my VHS collection due to Episode III being DVD only. I am currently playing through Dark Forces 1 and 2 so I am in a bit of a Star Wars mood right now.
  19. The beats for 'Public Warning' are pretty cool. I guess she is good at what she does, but I find the whole thing a bit too much of a fad to appeal to me - the lyrics are, like a lot of rap, fairly cringeworthy. On 'Drunk on Radiation', she sounds like this kid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xuSk8mrH_E&search=white%20kid%20rap
