  1. well i'm selling some random stuff I don't need or haven't needed for years: a red sledge Roces Graal laces rollerblades (size8-10) some protection pads for skateboarding/rollerblading(stateside pro brand, knees and elbows) i'll throw these in with the rollerblades if they're bought golf clubs, they're pretty much antiques with a hippo bag a dell 15" monitor (grey/blackish) a load of "goosebumps" book a guitar/bass stand (like the ones in RnB) a bicycle, front suspension, plenty gears(i'll count them if requested) front brake is not there but can be replaced easily(i lost part of it cycling) and i'll throw in a puncture kit and pump some economincs and management books(can't remember which ones right now)if requested i'll give the names authour etc) mmmmmmm think that's all the stuff I don't need, so if you need it or have any questions gimme a reply or PM Cheers timson

  9. God i completely forgot to re-check this, the problem sorted itself, strange. It just stopped happening after a day or two i set up the thread, I moved the PC slightly further away form the TV just to make sure it doesnt happen again, cheers for all the suggestions i'll keep them in mind if the problem comes back
  10. I thought the first half of the film was great, a true sense of isolation, the film had a great build up but it was an anit-climax in the second half, where you start seeing the monster things, wouldnt say they were zombies like

  12. mmmm dunno about that, I went down to glasgow just this wednesday past for the Bloc Party concert, the second band's guitarist got soaked with beer and god knows how many glowsticks off his head. If the glasgow crowd are like that all the time then we;ve nothing to worry about
  13. recently bought a TV that can be used as a TV monitor, since its a novelty to view the internet etc through a 32" tv i set it up. However after a few seconds of turning the TV on the picture shakes while the PC is on, so I cn't look at the screen as it's really annoying to look at. I have a suspicion it's something to do with the wireless internet connection or just the PC itself. anyone know enough about TVs to help me sort the problem?
  14. yeah that's accurate yeah no banter from monkeys like, no charisma,no energy, musically they were ace though
  15. What did everyone think? The first support band were alright, second were ........., and artic monkeys were good, I'm not a huge fan of them, do they always look so bored on stage? I got soaked with beer and was right next to two fights involving groups of neds during the concert...nice!!!

    Boxing

but then you could just argue the same point with music, it serves no purpose than to entertain us food,we eat to live, whether it tastes amazing or ok books,we read for enjoyment a boxing fan may admire the amount of training a boxer goes through, the focus and concentration, thinking about your opponents next move
  17. 4am!!!!!! I was invited to someones house to watch it thinking it would be on at 10pm or something, I'll surely have left by 4am haha
  18. ???what just hold the screw onto the wood or metal and start screwing? wouldn't that be a bit time consuming? I drilled a small hole through the metal plate in the back and then screwed the bolt in, it is a really firm hold and neck dive isn't an issue unless the bass is held horizontally. The epiphones come with the strap bolt on the side just above the neck. I have now placed it where they are on the Gibson version at the back where the bolts hold the neck in place
  19. Aberdeen uni male toilets, pretty ,uch any building has some amusing graffiti, the best I have seen is one the right hand side of a cubicle, it simply says "toilet tennis, look left" look to the left wall and it says "toilet tennis, look right" always amuses me
  20. Yeah I was thinking that i'll need to drill a hole in the neck joint, not the neck itself, and find a strap that is thin enough to fit in that space.
  21. HAHAHAHAHA wish i'd picked up on the obvious sooner You guys hear shed seven are gonna be supporting slipknot on their next tour
  22. Ok i've go the drill charging right now for tomorrow morning. I'm drilling a new strap lock hole in my epiphone thunderbird bass so that its easier to play standing as its neck heavy and i plan to place it somewhere else so ite more evenly weighed. I'd like to drill into the back of the bass, but that means going through the metal plate and maybe hitting the rod. I've seen pics of other basses and they drill into the side but I can't find a thin enough strap anywhere to do this :S Where best should I drill
