  1. "I'll form a new band and play music which sounds like all the shit stuff we wrote in the old band!" However, I'm sure this band will still be massively successful because some people don't seem to listen to music when they know who's playing it. Verdict = disappointed
  2. I said they got a bad write up, that's all. I did not say "They got a bad write up, haha, they're shit." so don't get so pissy. In short to you sir.
  3. They got a pretty bad write up in the EE. Basically questioned if they've still got it. I was offered tickets for free last night, I declined.
  4. Lets face the facts and get more on topic. Last night at Drummonds Samurai Fury and Debassed were supporting Tears of Grace. We played our little hearties out, heh. We seemed to go down quite well from what I could see, and we loved it. Samurai Fury were as good as always. Look up consistant in the dictionary and I swear you'll see them. That's the best I've seen Tears of Grace. All you haters should either go see them and keep an open mind or just stop being pissy towards them because they're doing what they do and they do it well in many a persons eyes. Plus, they got me onstage, which was fun! In closing, can't we all just get along? Oh, and definately up for another gig with the mighty Fury!
  5. Tears of Grace were awesome. Dude, you guys still sounded sweet, but you just didn't have the crowd. Unfortunate, but you guys still played well. As for the tuning thing, go check out the threads about how essential a pedal tuner is. Anyone catch Debassed? Any verdicts?
  6. Gay! What can ya do to stop this kinda senseless activity? Vandalism isn't kewl, it's the lowest of low.
  7. See? Isn't it nice when we all get along?
  8. Oh, I miss spelt that, it's: www.myspace.com/debassed Hold on...no wait, it was right! Well, it's more imaginative than writing "bump".
  9. Lets cut the crap and respect the memory of both legends. End of.
  10. I may pop down aswell, depending on what time my gig at Drummonds is finished at, but considering it's an earlier gig it should be fine.
  11. And lets face it, I don't think many people have heard Debassed, but if they did I'm pretty sure they'd find a little warm spot in their hearts for us. Everyone else does. As with Samurai Fury, check our MySpace for MP3s: www.myspace.com/debassed
  12. I've always been gutted I didn't get to play in there.
  13. Yeah, that's pretty pathetic. Take it somewhere else and lets keep this thread on topic, and without the unwanted opinions of some. This is an early start, so you can easily go see both gigs if you can spare 5. Also, you don't need to go to a gig to give to charity. "Yeah, I'll give to charity...but only if I get something out of it. You! Perform for me!"
  14. Half way through the pyramid I began to wish I wasn't at the bottom. I only heard Ruinous, I was impressed. Knew they had it in them. A lot tighter than last time.
  15. This is also gonna be the last Debassed gig for a while! A few things are happening, like our drummer getting his leg sorted and the recruitement of a new bassist, so this is your last chance to check us out for a while, and with this line-up! Also, we'll be debuting our new song "Bitter Sweet Reality" which has some major riffage! Come check it out.
  16. Woo! That was an awesome night! Hopefully this one will be too.
  17. That's a bloody shame. I have some great memories of eating breakfast in Tesco's when I was younger. Anyone got any suggestions for where you can still get a decent breakfast then? I'm talkin the full works. Bacon, egg, sausage, hash browns, fried bread, black pudding, mushrooms, you name it.
  18. Do believe we're (Debassed) playing with Bench on the 22nd. Should be interesting. Liking the stuff on MySpace, it's the kinda stuff I like to listen to while going to sleep.
  19. Nobody will fill this void in the wrestling world. We've lost one of the best wrestlers in the industry and no amount of John Cena's, Randy Orton's or Batista's will manage to fill the gap left by Eddie Guerrero.
  20. We just recently won the RGU Battle of the Bands. You gotta be slightly more interested in checking us out now, no? C'mon guys, how can bands improve when hardly anyone gives feedback?
  21. Don't worry guys, the talent is there and that's the main thing. Fucking amazing playing! Ye, there was a big space, between the crowd and bands, it was one of those things where it wasn't the right crowd for our bands. We need guys down the front to go nuts. Wouldn't mind playing with you guys again though, hopefully catch y'all down the line.
  22. Indeed, a gigs a gig and it was a mighty fun one too. Enjoyed playing with the two other bands. Nervous? I have to agree. Lack of gig experience shone through. Your singer was a statue. He's pretty good though, so the more confident he gets the more he'll shake his thing. Guitarist on the right of the stage (from the audience view) looked ace rockin out. He owned the stage when Ascension were on. I couldn't see the other guitarist and bassist though. We were statues? Stage presence is more about just moving about btw. Did you watch us play?
