  1. That was excellent. Never heard of them. Ta!
  2. Now this baby is called The Withstandinator. It can take a 6 Megaton blast; No more, No less.
  3. I listened. Stand out tracks for me would be warm smiles..... and constellations. wasn't an instant hit as common dreads was but i'm sure it'll be better with time. It better be. Have been reminded how good common dreads is/was, so i am listening to that now.
  4. Warm toilet seat at work. There's just no knowing until you sit down. Then it's too late to shift.
  5. Totes didn't know there was a new one. Ta! Sum 41 - Underclass Hero. I really like this. Just pretty much Blink 182 (especially the very first riff) with very similar production, but the songs are top, well written, with some rad bits. Skateboards.
  6. Wrong. animal hospital had the best theme tune.
  7. Can't post videos as im a'workin', though the middle section in Doorway by Neurosis is the biggest and bestest.
  8. Thats bad news. I've just started being able to atrribute late night noises in the flat to 'nothing' or 'definitely not demons'. This is a real reality that diminishes all my single occupant confidence.
  9. Yes? Can one not use poor grammar in jest or to prefix a comment with some light hearted tomfoolery?
  10. But I play bass, so, well..... it makes me come in my pants.
  11. I didn't say that. Though now you mention it.
  12. You mentioned. A number of times. Some might think one is trying to insinuate or hide something. Mine names is from when Adam Buxton used to masquerade as a indie music interviewer, not unlike Zane Low, and come out with fake artist names, one being Poopy Pee and MC Nice Andrew.
  13. Was there not a neuremberg defence esque one underneath triple kirks along the lines of 'i was just following orders' or something? That was cool and rad and edgy and provacative. That'll have woken those suits up out of their corperate rat race.
  14. What he said. Though currently my favorite cymbal ever is my AAX 18" dark crash. Sounds big and bright. Only ever either bought from R n B or swapsies from mates, so I'm not sure about where to buy from.
  15. I understand this is a local thread for local people, but some of you, like me, live outside Aberdeen and possibly in Dundee, or know folks that do., may be interested in reading on. I am currently looking for a second guitarist to help me achieve my goal of forming a band, playing live and continuing to write and produce fantastic music. Currently, we are but 3 lowly musicians (guitarist, bassist, drummer) in our mid to late 20s, with the ideas and drive of that you would associate with someone successful and respected. We have written a collection of songs (please see below links as an example), which we are quite proud of. They are currently sans vocals, which is another matter all together. We have frequent access to facilities to record and produce at our leisure. We would like to have someone join us who can fit in well with us. We have played in bands together before and we understand it can be daunting coming into to an already established circle of trust, though we, speaking without bias, are wonderfully pleasant, handsome, accepting people. An experienced, versatile and creative player will do us nicely. Any questions please ask; I’ll be more than happy to enlighten. Singing abilities is a big plus. Assuring you creative indulgence and good times. http://soundcloud.com/shupostekud/menalan-reverb http://soundcloud.com/shupostekud/1709-4-apr-1 Any help would be appreciated.
  16. Remember when there was roadworks on Union street?
  17. good memories. I love these threads. I think we all needed to be reminded what has closed down on Union street from time to time. People can get so caught up with other stuff that seems important; you loose track of what really matters. Remember when the bus stops were all different?
