  1. I was painfully hungover on my birthday on tuesday. I had the bright yellow bile and waves of dizziness, whilst have to go meet my brother for christmas shopping. I was sad. I kept thinking i was feeling progressivly better so I tried to sort myself out and get dressed etc, only to have to rush to the bath/sink/toilet and give my abs a good work out. The night out however was top. I was talking to some dicks about football, pretending to know what i was on about.
  2. Thanks guy, I'll give it a shot and let you know how i get on.
  3. I've been toying with eqing distorted guitars for a while now; i understand it's all subjective to a mix, though I was wondering if anyone had any pointers to help good mix tone? I seem to have found a decent sweet spot on the speaker I'm using, though once recorded, I'll scoop bits here and there, and make it sound acceptable, come back to it in a few days and decide it sound utter piss. This maybe down to my indecisiveness, though I've never been truely happy with any tone I've yeilded from amp>speaker>mic>preamp>interface. Fanx.
  4. What Jeid said. It'll just replace the drums hits on the given recorded channel. Its also velocity sensitive and has samples for a good few grades. The way it work in my head is that you'd record each indiviual drum from the indivual output of the TD12 on a seperate track, then you could trigger drumagog for each drum. Not really sure how it'd work with overheads and cymbals though. Slate has some proper good samples. If you're familier with Paramore and their excellent drum sound, that was the guy that engineered that sound.
  5. 1. Devin Townsend - Glasgow Garage. Was just like a big party. Maybe best gig ever, partly due to the fact I he played all my favourites. 2. The Jezabels - King Tuts. Only saw half of it because I stay in Dundee and had to work, but i got to meet them and the sound was amazing. 3. Foreign Beggars - Reading Rooms. Mad sounds, mad rhymes, excellent showman ship. 4. The Faceless - Apollo23 in Glasgow. Crowd were boring as shit, but the band were spot on. Not a note missed. Met the guy after as well. He couldn't be bothered. 5. We Were Promised Jetpacks - Doghouse. 100% smashing and total lovely lads. Pretty sure I've been to more but these stick out mega style.
  6. With the TD12, I beleive it has seperate outputs for each drum? In which a fantastic idea to emulate a real kit would be to use those individual drums to trigger real samples using drumagog? I love that program. I've used superior drummer in the past to trigger the midi from my TD3 but I have had all manner of latency issues which take alot of fucking about with to sound proper and like the performance - in essence I may as well have drawn it in with the sequnecer. Triggering audio seems a way beter idea. I'll agree with the feel comment though. Playing drums is definitely a cathartic experience. To get a good performance, you'll need the viceral response and feel of a real kit. It may work for some, but not me.
  7. Going really fast on my bike when the climax of a song is reached on a sunday day when I've just been paid and engaged and arranged a holiday. Also drugs.
  8. I love that thread. Is there any more good Rune ones?
  9. He can come off a little abrasive, but I enjoyed his banter. Havnt seen him in a while though. It is. I searched the band name on the soundcloud app and they came up.
  10. Just listened to the track. It's pretty awful.
  11. I was in Dewar's graduating class.
  12. Just finished. THOROUGHLY enjoyed. Definitely influenced my outlook.
  13. Im not too sure about this imessage thing, It'll say im sending it as an imessage, then if i go back and look at it, it'll say it was text message. Otherwise enjoying it, my 3gs seems to be a little more responsive.
  14. Thingy, whats his face and those guys.
  15. NICE. I read somewhere they are going to protract season 5 over 2 seasons.
  16. Yeah that too. Jesse will kill walt. Walt jr kills jesse. Brock kills Walt jr. Skyler gets cancer and starts cooking.
  17. I fuking loved it. Almost as much as i love continuating filling this thread with spolier tags. The Gus standing after explosion was a bit ott, but it think it's a resonance of his charachter, which i liked. I guess the shot of the flower at the end was the clue to whre the last season is gonna go? Thinking about it, that's fukin mentile. Walt poisoned that little kid and defended it almost to the death that it wasn't him. Walt is crazy, but that was a big twist that hasn't really sunk in till now.
  18. Mother of SHIT breaking bad was GOOD.
