Visited a mate when younger. was perplexed when I was asked if i fancied rolls for lunch. I thought they were wanting to eating plain buns/softies. However "rolls" is a term used for sandwiches which could contain any filling you wish.
When I was in Dumfries people would ask if I was enjoying food that was given or made for me, I would reply "fine" they took offence as "fine" is used as acceptable, rather than the North East meaning of fit fine
thats warranty for second hand goods, granted, you buy a playstation from a boy of gum tree you have no comeback I'd buy a new one from amazon, get it, say it got lost get a replacement, sell it on
you don't pay extra for manufacturers warranties. you are thinking about when argos asks you for extended guarantee. usually you are covered by the place you bought it from money back warranty period within 30day, after that you contact the supplier. but in most cases if you still have the receipt and want an exchange the store will usually offer a replacement outwith the grace period if you stand your ground.
no issues with sky, but since we have been with them a year the bills have slowly been going up, obviously charging us full price for all services. Want to quit and go fibre optic with someone, but i don't want to deal with talk talk, once bitten twice shy
