  1. I had to leave before losertron came on. last time i saw them they just stood, garbed in black ninja wear behind their keyboards, very still and monotonous. so 'chic'. i went last night to keep a friend company and it turned out to be one of the worst nights possible. also, they were kind of arsey to us. boo.
  2. Hey! I have a Sony CD Walkman up for grabs, I got it as a present about six months ago and used it for a few months before getting an Ipod so it's it tip top shape. I liked it because it's super thin, and light, and has a good battery runing time. Has fancy LCD headphones, charger, and case. It cost about 110 from John Lewis. You can read all about it here Any serious offers appreciated! Adele
  3. I thought he'd kicked the bucket when he collapsed at the end of the episode before, i was kind of disappointed he came round in hospital, I'm all about the tragedy. But then, I got my fill of despair in the end, so it's all gravy. I watched the programme religiously for the first couple of series until it started getting a bit ridiculous, but owing to a million repeats of every subsequent episode on sky I reckon I've seen most other episodes, just in a bizarre order i guess. I hope it ends painfully. No wishy washy endings.
  4. i'll trade you one enigma for one priceless faberge egg
  5. i really like the album, it's more faithful that i was expecting, the pig destroyer track was a surprise. it's all pretty cool, with the exception of the irritating mare track, which is a shame, because i really like mare. listening to the cd does kinda just make me want to put the melvins on though.
  6. i really, really dont get the whole 'meeting up with people you met on the internet' thing. i know someone who met their boyfriend and whole social network via a popular hotness ratings website. their entire relationship basically translates as an older guy using a barely legal girl for sexual purposes and not much else. it's all so horrible and seedy. i just think that the internet provides a means to alter and adapt how people are perceived by others, and allows people to indulge in behaviours they wouldn't exhibit 'in real life', because of the relative lack of repercussions involved. i personally just can't trust the idea of 'knowing' someone who you've only spoken to online or read their livejournal or their myspace etc etc but never met face to face several times. i'll never understand. never! gaah.
  7. aw shucks the case went to the first bidder for the princey sum of five pounds sterling i'd enjoy the enigma anyway though, if you're offering, is it mystical?
  8. hey ho! up for grabs is one barely used padded acoustic guitar case i paid about forty quid for several years ago from r'n'b music before deciding to sell my acoustic guitar for beer money. it's black, soft, cuddly, and has multiple zips and compartments for all your fancy gadgetry. there may even be the odd free plectrum hidden within its cosy depths! offers of any amount completely acceptable, or it's going to le charity shop. thanks! adele
  9. gee that's none too funny. erotic, yes. funny, no. oh well. thanks for the link anyway.
  10. i think cineworld is the beach cinema that once was ugc?
  11. does anyone know what the actual joke is? i'm curious. although i don't think i could cope with a whole film regurgitating one joke over and over just to find out...
  12. I have it downloaded, going to watch it tomorrow night - I can't wait! eeee! it's not the dubbed version though so maybe i'll go along and see that too.
  13. i give it 1/10 because i quite like the stuff about maggots

    Spider?!

urgh, i found a stripey jumping spider on the wall last year which gave me nightmares until i managed to forget about it, but which undoubtedly will now return as my memory has been jogged. thanks. i have four recently squished spider corpses on my bedroom walls/ceiling which i leave there as a warning to others. (also they wont wipe off, sturdy juices etc). the last one i 'got' was yesterday, when i tracked a fairly podgy spider across the room until it descended to a level i could reach to squish it with the chuck pahluinik (sp?) book with the scary cover. too much information? never!
  15. oh yes. i forgot. we buried him in the garden with his "mecha-arthropod sentinel v2.0". sorry.
  16. I would actually really like those tickets.
