  1. I guess if pushed I have 4 albums that have been the most important to me, shaping my tastes and being part of my life at various points. The first would have to be Rage against the machines debut. I guess this got me into heavy music in the first place, and opened up my eyes to lots of other bands. The second would be smashing pumpkins- Siamese Dream. This album struck a chord with me from when I first heard it, and again it was part of my life for a long time. The third would be faith no more - angel dust. I got into faith no more around the time that king for a day.. came out, but angel dust is the fnm album which had the most impact on me, both on my own musical taste, and the way in which I think about things. The final one would again be the smashing pumpkins -mellon collie and the infinite sadness. It is one of the few double concept albums that I like, showed me that a band need not be pinned down into one genre, and was a soundtrack for many years of my life. It remains my absolute fave album, and it has been constently listened to every year since it came out.
  2. How about the big lebowski: John Goodman, a disgruntled vietnam vetren starts smashing up a car with a baseball bat. With every swing he utters the genius line: 'That's what you get when you fuck a stranger in the ass!' CLASS.
  3. Aye, the game is Donkey Kong's jungle beat, and I think the idea is to swing on vines using the bongo's! It's due for a feb release.

  7. It seems my boxset may have befallen the same fate. Although I have not had an email, I checked the status of my order, and it says that it is no longer available, and that my order will be cancelled. Rubbiss.
  8. Certainly does. I heard they had split up on the same day I heard that dimebag had been shot. Rubbiss!
  9. Our policy is to cancel orders if we have been unable to supply books within 60 days, or any other items within 45 days, with the exception of products that have not yet been released or that are reported as reprinting. The above is what I found on my order screen, while checking up on if they have any stock yet. That means that if they want to worm out of it all they have to do is to wait 45 days and say that they cannot get anymore stock.
  10. .........and thus concludes today's segment of the royal institute christmas lectures on the proper use of english grammer in forum posts.
  11. I was expressing my opinion on the content of the advert leading up to the programme itself. Deal with it.
  12. Shannish! I ordered my one yesterday. I shall post to tell if it arrives.
  13. They are not incomparable. It is offensive to write off the guidlines for someones life on the most important day of the christian calender. It would have a similar shock value to the programme I described.
  14. Time for my tuppence worth. i believe that God exists, but I don't go around forcing other people to my way of thinking, and I think others should respect EVERYONE'S opinion, whether they agree or not. Those that force their opinions come across to me as being insecure with their own beliefs. Merry Christmas.
  15. Congrats Jake!! Time to expose the little 'un to some pungent stench!!!! From your friendly local megadrive game provider!!!
  16. I avoided it, due to the fact that I thought it was a pretty offensive thing to put on the day that celebrates the birth of Jesus. What next, a programme on rememberence sunday saying what a nice fellow Hitler was???
  17. I forgot about keene and the zutons. i'm fed up of hearing their bland excuses for music.
  18. Either Killswitch engage- rose of sharyn or depeche mode enjoy the silence 2004. Also honourable mentions for lostprophets last train home and all singles off the auf der maur album.
