  1. Yeah, I've got it. Not listened all the way through yet, but what I have heard is superb. (Like, I expected anything else)
  2. It's one of the best festivals I've been to. If you need any local info then give us a shout.
  3. It was a pretty decent gig. Just a shame that the older stuff sounds much better live than the new stuff.
  4. I'm not a huge fan of the Needles, but I enjoyed that very much. Nice work.
  5. bump couple of tracks available on itunes............
  6. Cost price, looking for a good home. It's this Monday in Glasgow by the way big man but.
  7. The heckling during KC was plain embarrassing as well. Absolutely no need for it. Word of advice - if you don't like the band, just fuck off and don't spoil it for others eh. One of the worst audiences I've encountered in Aberdeen along with Jose Gonzales the previous night. (re JG - the chattering was probably due to the vast majority of people not being able to see anything on stage at Moshulu)
  8. Wasn't sure what to expect with Schneider TM, but really got into it after a bit. Magnetophone bored me after a while, so I left half way through them, but I loved Gravenhurst.
  9. Ho Ho' date=' sorry Graeme. I'll tell you all about it on Friday. Here's a wee taster though. [img']http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/4687/dscf00264xu.jpg
  10. Adem and KC were both on top form this weekend at the Homegame. Expect more brilliance on Friday. Should be good.
  11. I was at this last night and it was probably the best gig I've ever been to. Small club show, new songs, old songs. Doesn't get any better. Can't wait for the album. Anyway, just got home and am off again to the Fence homegame, so will post a better review next week if anyone's interested.
  12. Can only agree with what's been said before. Fantastic gig.
  13. They're only hard to get if you don't already have any.
  14. They'll be doing a Euro tour anyway, prob with a Glasgow show.

Nope, but that video is quite nice.
  16. Mike told me last night, but I can't remember. Past Stonehaven anyway. (I realise this doesn't narrow it down, could be London for all I know o_O )
  17. Never a truer word said. Amazing show. Thanks to IMP again. Was that good that I bought CD's from all three acts (And I've never done that before) Blind Tommy Doo was a nice wee intro to the main performers. Adrian Crowley was just quality, with a surprise wee cameo appearance from Mr Creosote added in for good measure. Doom folk. TIH are definitely an acquired taste, and all the better for it. Downbeat but feelgood at the same time. Late night listening for sure. Wonderful
  18. I got for Meadowbank, but really wanted to go to one of the Blackpool shows. Might try again on Saturday.
  19. Was thinking about this gig last night. I see Pictish Trail is supporting TIH the night after in Edinburgh - no chance you could get him up as well? Mind you, the line-up is pretty ace already.
  20. Can't do anything but agree with the last two posts. Lese Majesty were good, but the sampling was starting to annoy me after a while. Would probably have enjoyed it more if the 'effects guy' wasn't there. I'm ashamed to say that's the first time I've been able to catch Kitchen Cynics. Thoroughly enjoyed Alan's performance and loved the way he effortlessly weaved his little stories in the songs. (I bought a couple of cd-r's as promised Alan ) Pretty much blown away by the strength of Larkin Grimm's voice. I thought she was going to be a bit mental when she asked everyone to stop smoking, but was nothing other than charming throughout the set. Yes, she went on a bit long, but the crowd wanted it and she was delighted to oblige. Another great IMP show. Roll on next week for Things In Herds and Adrian Crowley (free plug)
  21. Do keep up at the back. That may have been the case 5 years ago.
