  1. Why does the tune.. "Body Count's in the house" ..keep springing to mind.
  2. Someone mentioned 'Ringos'. Remember the catchphrase.... No Ring goes like a Ringo goes. Does anyone remeber the slightly frightening Kinder egg ads with a giant egg saying such stuff as 'Chocadoobie'?
  3. The Daily Mirror seem to be pointing the finger at some creepy Christian guy they refer to as 'Uncle' who prefers not to have sex with the girls but drive them around town trying to score drugs for them. Perhaps he's on a mission from God to clean up the streets.
  4. I sincerely hope anything written on here does affect their business. It's up to the club management to ensure that they are giving out a good public image. (This is a public website after all) If they don't like the image they are giving out then they should make changes. I never go to Exodus anymore after years of shite from the pig ignorant doorstaff.
  5. 13.5 to 18 % Many a good night started with a bottle of this.
  6. I don't think the Moorings sells Beef and Mustard crisps. They still do Space Raiders (all 3 flavours).
  7. This classic drink lost out to the lilt we know and love. Quattro was too bitter and everyone hated it. Also, it lost its fizz straight after opening the can. (Which was white with a multi-coloured diamond split into 4 quarters.) I can't find a picture of it anywhere on the net.
  8. Gambit bar (I think Galaxy chocolate made them or something.) Splicers. They were a stripey multicoloured chewy bar. Pacers. They were mint flavoured opal fruits in green and white.

    Your current read?

Yep, that's him. Stairway to Heaven is loaded with Crowleys teachings.
  10. God, you lot are a strain on the already struggling NHS. Instead of going to A & E, get yer sewing kit out and stitch yourself up Rambo-style. (And 2 lollypop sticks for fixing broken fingers.)
  11. I read this one. I'm sure there can't be much of a difference. Amazon.co.uk: Don Quixote (Penguin Classics): Books: Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra,John Rutherford
  12. I can't for the life of me remember which albums I bought this year or which were last years. However, I've been listening to a lot of .... The Berzerker - World of Lies Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death.
  13. But look at the advantages... if you're Dyslexic then the Querty keyboard would appear in Alphabetical order making life easier....
  14. It's funny how some peoples favourites are my most hated books. To name a couple, Gormenghast. I hated this book. (I now think of it as Gormenghastly!) Read 'The Quincunx' by Charles Pallister instead. Don Quixote. I failed to see the humor intended by the author. (It was meant as a comedy after all.) Voltaire's "Candide" is shorter and gets the message across a lot better.
  15. Do Electronics. It stands you in good stead for loads of career paths including IT, telecomms trades, instrument engineering and allsorts. It pays well too. However, the down side is that every man and their dog will want you to fix their knackered DVD players, playstations etc.
  16. I broke my arm in 3 places...... I'm not going there again! Seriously though, I've only been to hospital to get 3 wisdom teeth and my adenoids removed.
  17. A blonde (well it usually is isn't it) falls over after a night on the piss and wakes up in A & E a bit concussed. The doctor says "How many fingers have I got up?" to which she replies..... "Oh my god, I'm paralysed from the waist down!" Quote Quiz.. Who said "I came, I saw, I conquered." ....julius caesar Who Said "We shall fight them on the beaches." ....Winston Churchill. Who Said "Defeat is alright" ....Nelson Mandella's chiropodist .
  18. I have too many pet hates to mention them all but the one that's pissed me off most recently (today) is sinks without mixer taps. Trying to wash the soap off your hands under scalding water is not pleasant. It's petty but I've had a bad day at work and that didn't help.
  19. "The Bridge" was my favourite followed by "Complicity" then "Walking on Glass" I've only read one Culture novel and that was "The Player of Games."

    Your current read?

I'm currently reading "Grunts" by Mary Gentle. Think Orcs with guns. o_O
  21. Personally I'm not against gays but my boyfriend hates them.
  22. Here is a free desktop dragon illusion that's really cool. Just print it out, build it (It only takes a couple of minutes) close one eye and watch it follow you around the room. http://www.grand-illusions.com/images/articles/opticalillusions/dragon_illusion/dragon.pdf I love it.
  23. I always thought that the Haig fund and the Scottish Poppy Appeal were two different charities.
