Dirty Hearts Club presents THURSDAY 31st MARCH 10pm 3 entry Fridge Magnets FRIDGE MAGNETS | Free Music, Tour Dates, Photos, Videos Lovely bit of electro pop with added post punk guitar, kind of like New Order if they were from Glasgow and had a sense of humour, loving the lyrics in that - Vic Galloway, BBC Radio One " the gleeful hatred of Andy Kane might even obscure the song itself: an equally unapologetic slab of electro-freakazoid-dance.." - A New Band A New Day "A good blend of electro frippery with New Ordery guitars an some serious driving energy pushes this track into the back of your head, where it will stay." - Best Of Myspace Previously in 2010 the band have blown the roof off of the Strongbow Tent @ Rockness, King Tuts w/ Unicorn Kid and the T-Break Tent @ T In The Park.

I know what you mean Del but would admit im also intriqued.. I quite like the modern version, particularly Surfs Up - the section in the middle about the tidal wave gets me every time..

Was a fun night and a as Foxhunting says - nice cosy atmosphere. Foxhunting was a definite highlight/ treat and id urge people to go and see him again sometime. I had no pennies on me to buy one but his CD would be worth a shout i think. Thanks also for the kind words mate.

hey guys, this is this week and should be awesome!!! Do please come along and support the cause. These guys had a hard time last time they were up (technical difficulties and a very drunk crowd = nightmare!) so it would be ace if we could enable them to have a belter! also, any word from you Iomega on the place to crash front? My spare room is very small!

Steven Milne replied to Steven Milne's topic in Gigs & Event Announcements
Support for this will be Steven Winton. 10pm doors 10.25pm - 10.50pm - steven winton 11pm - stanley odd + DHC DJs to close Should be a cracker. -
This will now just be Conquering Animal Sound + Myself playing. If anyone fancies changing the event thread that would be great. To avoid the onslaught of any people interrupting their set this will be a pretty early DHC show. Steven Milne - 10.15pm-10.40pm CAS - 10.45pm - 11.15pm Cant wait - these guys are awesome!
-
Afraid not- there wont be any on the doors unless some are returned. However, there was a couple of returns to ticketweb today (ive just been informed) so maybe keep an eye on Ticketweb in case some come up - there may be a few people returning due to Jetpacks pulling out/ maybe cant go etc. But there will be no tickets on the door. As with standard gigs at bigger venues there will be no pass outs either.
