Hey guys. I have a PS2 with controllers and 20 games going spare. Was going to throw away but the optimist and hoarder in me thought maybe someone somewhere would appreciate it - maybe one of you guys would like it or somebody's younger brother etc. Anyway, games include metal gear solid x 2, fifa, pro evo, couple of grand theft autos, splinter cell etc. Decent nick and will easy meet in town with it. Maribou Stork is horrific - id forgotten about that till now (cries at desk...) Almost as bad is the Acid House film- specifically the Fly scene with his parents.....at the fireplace....Jesus! That gave me shudders for a while but at least that was consensual.

Totally agree. After i watched it i was channel flicking and came across Channel 4 + 1 and it was on again and i started to watch the episode but remembered where it was going so changed. Im not saying its gory or in any way the worst thing ive seen but its certainly the most unpleasant thing ive scene in memory for a while. I think its the fact it was so well made. I agree that they could have signposted it a bit better in the last ad break but then that would have softened any impact. Even though you saw it coming, it went on for AGES..... I think normally they would incinuate what was going on and then pull away to something else so you knew it was happening but you wouldnt necessariliy see it or want to see it. But with this they just let you hear and see it and stayed there - i think thats why people are upset as they probably are used to things being watered down a bit but on this occasion they couldnt really look away from it. Some people were discussing how its deliberate that hes put the jokey silly sexy stuff at the start (the clark gable light relief + Shauns escapades) and then put the dark stuff at the end to draw a stark comparision - not sure theyve overthought that but if he did its very clever. I think it was really well done and agree with Del that its got better with each episode. The synopsis on the C4 web says among other things that Combo get's a chance to redeem himself and also seperately in the synopsis that a man is killed so if you put two and two together.......
