  1. Just re-read your own story but imagine it happened on a scummy bus. The door swung open while a junkie was having a pisss, and instead of reaching out to pull it shut, he swung his whole body around, and arced a jet of skanky pizzle onto my knee. The worst part was that he started to apologise while still standing there pissing on me.
  2. This is just my Megabus story with a change of location
  3. Good een! OK, pretty obvious hint for Red 10 Linekar played there - you need the full, three worded title
  4. I will swap you a hint for a hint - numer ten for thin red and white stripes
  5. OK finally got Teleconnect. Last three - rainbow sleeves, red and white vericals, and Heinz. ARGGGHHH
  6. Still stuck on teleconnect, rainbow, red and white verticals, and heinz. Argh!
  7. Panasonic hint: two England internationalists played for them in the early 90s/maybe late 80s. They are a foreign team and were very successful in the early 90s. All yellow no sponsor is the away kit of a successful mid 80s team who usually play in blue. Hints for number 10 and red, white and blue can be found on the previous page.
  8. Heinz, Ricoh, Rank Xerox, Rainbow sleeve and Teleconnect to go
  9. The red, white and blue is English> Belonging to a team who yo9u would expect to see in those colours, the fucking fuds that they are
  10. 10 is foreign. From my favourite country. Porn-wise, anyway
  11. I know the bottom three of those
  12. Stuck on 21, but I am also awarding myself Boca Juniors because Im sure it is a glitch...esp if Woods had his answer accepted
  13. Must be Brighton amirite guys! *High five* Oi oi!
  14. That is the correct spelling, but the answer in the quiz is Galatasary
  15. Yeah I had Boca juniors but it isnt accepting the answer... Ah TYVM for Blackpool, I thought it was Dundeh Yinited
  16. Spelling mistake on Galatasaray. Can anyone help with and I am certain that I know them, but cannae find a spelling combo that works.
  17. The only thing worse than a fan of Twiglet is a fan of Twiglet who tries to make excuses for it.
  18. At any given music festival, my priority is to see the Levellers. Even if it jeapordises my own set.
  19. I fucking KNEW IT! Had a bet with Kai on this aboout eight years ago
  20. I dunno why, but her twitter prfile pic is just so damn hot!
  21. Jaja, terrific night. Thanks to Captain Tom for asking us to play, and to Right Hand Left, Turning 13 and The Ruckus who were all marvellous. Good to see so many people out supporting their local scene.
  22. Phil, there are countless players who were far from standouts in the SPL but have done comparatively well in England. Your argument only takes into consideration the players who didn't find success down there, but you have to consider the flipside. Charlie Adam springs to mind. Stephen Crainey. Jason Scotland. Ross McCormack. Dorus de Vries. All off the top of my head, I'm sure there are plenty more. Some players succeed in England, some don't. Some get homesick, or find the style doesn't suit them, or x y or z. England is not the be-all and end-all; plenty of players the world over flopped there (veron, Shevchenko, Postiga, Crespo, Morientes bla bla bla) and were successful footballers overall. Don't believe the hype; England is not the yardstick against which all ability is measured. I don't know how to convince you that your argument is fundamentally flawed, so I'll stop trying. I'll leave it with this; the SPL has its critics and its drawbacks, but the standard of League One and below is laughable. Most of the Championship is comparable to an SPL game, only we view the SPL cup as half-empty. Strip away the Sky and BBC hype and all you have is a piss-poor bunch of hammerthrowers in the English lower-leagues; no different to any nation in the world.
