  1. I was soooo happy when someone asked me what the date was today. And then when I was writing a chegue and asked someone the date. hehehehe. I've been waiting for this for a whole year now. Can't wait till next year!
  2. I was just worrying for my sanity.
  3. Unfortunatelly AKA The Fox have had to pull out. They shall be replaced by one of our favourite bands, from Underflow's electronic tentencies: CYKLICS www.myspace.com/cyklics
  4. I think a new program is supposed to happen, and started watching it, but at one point it just cut into Holby City. I checked the listings and its supposed to be a new Law Drama with John Hannah
  5. Ok this is a bit sad, and a bit weird. But I was just watching the start of a new Drama thing on BBC One, and I'm sure that its just turned into Holby City unexpectedly. Did anyone else encounter this bizzare event?
  6. For the record I wasn't taking photos, she was just standing next to me peering into the rest of the crowd, I assumed that's what she was looking for cause I saw her stop a couple of people from taking photos earlier. Brilliant gig though
  7. I can think of a few that come without the complimentary disembowling.
  8. 1. Vidrar vel til loftarasa - Sigur Ros 2. Lights Out - Cyklics 3. Cold Winter - Malcolm Middleton 4. The Needle and the Damage Done - Neil Young 5. Sukie in the Graveyard- Belle And Sebastian
  9. Fuck knows. probably so they could tell their mates they were right at the front so they appear cool.
  10. Is this some sort of new strain of adolescent spots?
  11. I've already moaned on a couple of other threads about the noise at Arab Strap last night. Sometimes you can forgive it, as friendly banter between crowd and band, but During Arab Strap I saw some people standing in a circle, some with their backs to the band screaming at the top of their voices about something stupid. They were right at the front as well. The people arriving/leaving during tape was fucking annoying, especially when someones phone went off towards the beginning. Although the bouncer sitting by the entrance began talking to people as they came in from about halfway through the set, I assume to warn them to be quiet. Although I did think it was funny when he did the routine to Keiron Hebden. Although, to be fair, I dont think this is soley an aberdeen problem, at Mogwai in Edinburgh the other night I was getting well pissed off with the groups of people standing in front of me talking through the whole thing.
  12. My ex got mumps just when we started seeing each other. We'd been in close contact during her incubation period but I was fine. Apparently the doctor cant tell if it was mumps or not to this day even though she had all the symptoms.
  13. Was indeed an excellent night, ever part of it. Although I've already posted in another thread moaning about folk fucking chatting at the tops of their voices during the quiet bits.
  14. what is the point in going to a gig, standing right down the front and spending all your time screaming at the top of your voice to your mate about something fucking banal? I dont mind folk talking, like, maybe a whisper, but at the top of their voices during the quiet bits of songs. Other than that and a bouncer invading my personal space checking for anyone using a camera, this was a fucking amazing gig. The Strap were on form, much better than the last time I saw them, Bill Wells and Tape were amazing, while Keiron Hebdom and Steve Reid blew me right out of the building. I even enjoyed My Latest Novel this time around and the spoken word stuff was nice and intimate. Wooo. I have regained my faith in Arab Strap.
  15. I downloaded an interview with Malcolm Middleton on his solo stuff the other day. And he was saying that he only usually picks up a guitar when he's bored or miserable and write stuff. When he's happy and things are going well he says he has better things to do, like go out with his mates or something.
  16. my ears are making a weird shooshing sound.
  17. tonight I was mostly travelling to Edinburgh, Watching Mogwai, Driving home partially deaf.
