  1. cheers to everyone who came down, was hella busy. cheers to Holy Folks, Stanley and Popup, all were fucking amazing tonight. Appologies for my shit Djing and the fuckup with the projector. Hope to see you at the next gig on 10th October with Kid Canaveral....more details to follow....
  2. wow. o_O but not or though (Those annoying smileys are the resuly of the eight character rule)
  3. Appologies to those astounded by callums post, Visual Dave cant make it, so I think I might be doing something, or showing a film or something to that effect. On the plus side, we still have three of the most inventive bands around. www.myspace.com/popuptheband www.myspace.com/iamstanley www.myspace.com/holyfolks
  4. I was there and I had to leave because he was so shit.
  5. I avoid it like the plague, but ended up there a few times towards the end of uni, even on graduation. And I pulled. But it was someone I didnt expect to be in there. For some reason it was frequented by GRays Vis Com students last year. I'm going to try stay away.
  6. I think its pretty cool, more laid back than other 8-bit stuff out there. I really like the HALpod as well.
  7. fucking hell, one twenty for a coke? Thats rediculous. If I was forced to pay that for a soft drink I wouldnt want to drink there. Soft drinks are too expensive in pubs. I've had this discussion before after refusing a bunch of underagers when I was working in The Tunnels, i think something needs to be done to give kids somewhere to go for a game of pool or whatever. Are there actually any youth clubs or anything about? I havent heard of any, then again I am 23. I agree with the point that its up to the pub to decide who gets in, but it is a bit shit that there is no alternative around.
  8. bump bump, a week away. Part of the Tunnels three day extravaganza. Tunnels Ent Soc tuesday, Us Wednesday and Kenetic thursday. What more could you ask for?
  9. wow, this looks a hell of a lot like an Underflow line up from April that fell through......
  10. Anyone heard their new CD yet? It'll be onsale at this gig, with t-shirt and badges and maybe some other stuff, a blender. I dont know
  11. I think its technically the week after. However when I started uni I continued the threshers week activities...oh until third year.
  12. Get yourselves along to our next night, after a three month hiatus! Popup. We first introduced Popup to Aberdeen in February, since then they have exploded across the country, having released their first single "Lucy What You Trying To Say" in June. Quirky tales of Contemporary Scottish Life paired with jaunty rythms and upbeat catchy tunes. Working tirelessly, gigging almost every night Popup are about to huge. www.myspace.com/popuptheband Stanley One of Aberdeen's most inventive bands, with a sound harking towards the intelligent orchestrations of mid-era Divine Comedy and the vocal power of Scott Walker. Stanley are an enigmatic group which enthrawls the sheer creativity of their output. www.myspace.com/iamstanley Holy Folks The Crown Princes of Anti-Folk. The Holy Folks are fresh off the release of their new EP and back on the offensive since securing their new drummer. With influences as wide as The Moldy Peaches and NWA, they were described by Anti-Folk Godfather, Lach, as the best band he played with on his recent UK Tour. www.myspace.com/holyfolks Wednesday 27th September, The Tunnels, Carnegie's Brae, Aberdeen Doors 8PM, Tax 3
  13. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Although it might make that signed Live Album I've got worth a bit more..... still NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  14. You're name's Callum. Sorry you asked me on saturday to remind you.
  15. Not a DJ Set, a Sound Clash, one of epic proportions. Think Resident Evil 2, but for the playstation generation.
