I find it to be a semi-useless feature, really, as more often than not it simply lists artists that the band has toured with, on same label, in same "scene", etc. I guess that's all they can base recommendations on for now, anyway!
Cheeky little bump! Not too many cheap advance tickets left here; WeGotTickets - Your Online Box Office - COPY HAHO Moon Unit and Kuda are both completely amazing, and it'll probably be a while after this before Copy Haho play in Aberdeen again!
HELLO! Entertaining some friends tonight, where is good to go out in Aberdeen on a Sunday night? It's been ages since I was last out on a Sunday night.
Yes, in that situation... Seriously though, a good lineup or promoter doesn't mean a gig is going to be busy. Played busy gigs with shite bands and a shite promoter, played dead gigs with ace bands and ace promoters.
City Cafe do incredible veggie burgers, and - not sure of the deal specifics - but as far as I can remember they do 2-for-1 pizzas or something similar?
Because not everyone intends to buy the release when downloading, so by listening to the album via that source, you're supporting this. Bands will make available how much of an album they want you to hear in advance. It's THEIR album, to do with as THEY please. I can't think of any recent release where I've not been able to hear at least a handful of songs in advance of release. You can also preview tracks on iTunes, Amazon, etc...
