I've been cheated on...it's not nice at all. To feel that you completely trust someone and then they go behind your back and betray that trust and don't tell you. I forgive but don't forget and certainly don't understand why someone would cheat on a person they claim to love. It makes it harder to trust people again. Hmmm...I've been to all my seminars, done most of the reading and written 2 and a half essays. I have to answer 3 out of 8 questions from a choice of 6 topics. When I worked at Alldays, my manager told me he wouldn't give me a promotion unless I stopped having blue hair. I liked my blue hair. I kept it. I didn't get promoted. My supervisor had red streaks through his hair...go figure? I like working in a bar. So long as I wear my t-shirt, no one cares what hair colour or style you have. But society will dictate the appearance which is deemed "acceptable" and in certain jobs, you will have to fit this description. Old people and professional people in particular are likely to assume that someone who looks "different" from the next employee is likely to provide poorer quality service. In general, this assumption is unlikely to be well-founded, but how is one to tell the customers that someone who looks "rock" will provide the same level of service as someone who looks "professional." That added nothing to the debate. I just needed a break from writing my essay. Sorry.

Does anyone know how much I need to write/study (provided all the material is relevant and good quality) to get a 2.1? I don't want to do any more work than necessary, but I want to get a 2.1.

I went to Albyn and really enjoyed it. Although I don't have anything to compare it to since I was there from primary 1 to 6th year, I'm pretty sure it was the right choice for me. Before I went to Albyn, I was very very shy and wouldn't talk to people but the small classes and all female environment helped to bring me out of my little shell and I think I'm quite normal now, and not a lesbian or a whore. I guess going co-ed will either make or break the school. Since Gordons started taking girls, Albyn has been on a downward spiral, although only noticeably so in the last 5 years, when at one point there were only 7 pupils in primary 1. The obvious solution would have been to merge with St Margaret's but no one seemed happy with that idea. So who knows, maybe taking boys into Albyn will increase the school's population or maybe the last few pupils who joined solely because of the single sex environment will fuck off the Bobby G's. I will watch with interest.

I want to do my highers again. Honours courses at uni suck ass. At higher, I studied Maths, English, German, Physics and Computing. I hated English but the others were all pretty good. Whatever you plan to do after school, it's a good idea to take maths anyway since it opens up your options. There are many things that you can't do without maths and so if you don't take it at higher now, you may have to do it at college later on.

I've decided I'm pretty screwed as far as exams go. Every time I try to study, I fall asleep.
