I think his point is that you asked a slightly odd question but still received considered advice from people with a wealth of experience, advice you then took while pretending said advice was no use. Read back through your own posts - they're a litany of questions about how to fix/upgrade/mod/improve your gear. If you just listened to the reams of sensible advice you have received from experienced musicians, your next thread might be a link to your music rather than yet another problem with your set up.

Why can't you save up a little bit more and buy what you want? For example, you'd pick up a perfectly good Marshall head second hand for only a wee bit more. When it comes to your gear, if you buy cheap you will always end up buying twice, honestly. I bought a second hand Engl head 7 years ago or so, and although it was dear, I've never had to upgrade. I picked up a JCM900 head a few years later as a touring backup and it wasn't much over 350, but the only thing that would make me change my setup now is if I decided I wanted to downsize to a combo. Save up for the right amp and avoid interminable internet threads about swapping, changing, modding or hunting for alternative gear.

Admittedly I've only just been promoted to Homicide, but I'm enjoying it. It's kind of like a modern Monkey Island but far more seedy and sweary.

While I'm no defender of Ken Clarke and his terminology was awful, if he was suggesting that what is effectively consensual statutory rape should not be penalised in the same way as a sexual assault, then he has a point. However, I'm not 100% sure that's what he meant. If he was alluding to any kind of "she's asking for it" nonsense, I retract my cautious agreement entirely.
