What's with the name "1864 in art"? This isn't an attack, just curious.

I've got a recording of it but haven't got the real thing. Seems to cost a bit much for me when I see it and the artwork's slightly dodgy pixelated scanner material (or the copy I saw in the cavern was anyway). It's a good boot though. Some of the vocals are even wilder than on the records. There's an amazing 'Crazy Chain' on there. I've seen a few RP interview cassettes on Ebay, do you know anything about them?

Cacophony's probably my favourite Peni LP, funnily enough. Possibly my favourite LP full stop. I'm a HP Lovecraft devotee, so goes without saying really. To Lepeep, yes. They're the one of the only band's from the anarcho-punk past that I can still listen to. Totally unique, amazing records. Even their newer stuff is decent.

My no. 1 fave is my Tascam 4-track (424 Mk II). Think it cost me about 35, which at the time was lower than most. Fookin great aswell. No. 2 would be the Death Church LP with the original foldy-outy poster. Had the reissue for years but it doesn't have the massive creepy poster. Staring at it for long periods of time could possibly change you irrepairably. Think it ended up around a tenner. Again, seen it sell for quite alot more a few times before I scored it.

i could take teabags. guess that doesn't help. if you put the right bill together i'm sure folk would turn up. there was a pretty good turn out for palehorse & black sun. not the same, but not a million miles away.

I've had my own thrash revival over the last few weeks too. There's nothing like zooming round the town on your (push)bike with Master blasting in your ears! The Devastation demos are also doing the trick.

ONLY a demo. I've heard many fucking amazing metal "demos" over the years, recorded on gear much less sophisticated than Tom's studio. Darkthrone used a cassette 4-track for most of the 90s. Different sound to you guys, but you get the picture.

My cd player packed in last year and, as I'm a vinyl man, I'm only just starting to miss it now. Does anyone out there have an old CD unit that they want rid of? I have a tinny little boom box already, I'm looking for a "separate" unit I can plug into my hi-fi. I have very little cash to spend on this, but feel free to offer your items for sale. Seen nothing on here, in the calendar, no posters, absolutely nothing about this gig. Black metal legends aswell, total pioneers. Playing in Drummonds on saturday night. Quite an early show, should all be over by 10:30 apparently. Anyone seen/heard anything about this one?

It's Uls local band show, 10-12 on tuesday night. It's not usually a metal show as far as I know, but we're a metal band and our boys played most of the tunes.
