It's quite odd what's happening at the moment. The team had got to the point when they really looked like they would make a top 3 spot comfortable and then suddenly started losing again. I think LVG needs to get his ego in check, he's making the job much more complicated than it should be. With the attacking talent at his disposal he just has to let players play to their strengths in a sensible system which lets as many do that as possible and they would beat most teams in the league. There have been valid arguments over whether Rooney is best in a no. 9 or no. 10 role but I don't think anyone would want him playing as deep as he has been lately. The contrast with Di Maria's position yesterday just made the idea look even crazier. I'm delighted that Southampton have got another win against a top team. They have a decent run of fixtures coming up now and they look like genuine challengers for a Champions League place. Not much to say about yesterday's other game except Stoke were awful and Sanchez has got to be the player of the season at this point.

2pm-10pm Mon - Fri and 11am-5pm every second Saturday. I'm normally at work 30 mins to an hour before I properly start. I'd be perfectly happy with it if I didn't have to work the Saturdays.

We weren't great early on in the game but once we got the goal (and the second straight after) we were very comfortable and controlled the game. Dundee had a great result yesterday but you'd have to say we should beat them at home. St. Johnstone away after that is a tougher match and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the game when our winning run ended. However with Celtic not playing we should be able to keep top spot at least into February which is just incredible.

Dons game is on Red TV but they're obviously taking the bbc alba feed as there's fucking gaelic commentary! I'd be just as well turning the sound on on the Polish coverage of the chelsea game on the telly.

Zubizarreta is being blamed for many of Barca's current problems; the misjudged signings, the transfer ban etc. I could see the signings being put on him but the issues with the youngsters must surely be the result of decisions made by multiple people. Puyol was his assistant so decided to leave too, not much to that although it is sad he's leaving the club in this way. Hopefully he can get a coaching job in the future or something. Messi rumours have been fairly frequent over the past few months, I'd generally say it's all rubbish but you could say there's no smoke without fire. Enrique seems to be hated by everyone I can't see him lasting too much longer. Another change would just show that the pep years were a one off coming together or circumstances, the right coach, the right players and the right(ish) leadership at board level. It wasn't the start of a long time dynasty as some thought. Also I there was a world wide ban on people saying "Moyes' Real Sociedad".

She's working with Arca too, who produced the FKA Twigs album as well as his own stuff. Could be an interesting collaboration. However I can't say I'm that excited by a new Bjork album. While I like a lot of what she's done since, it's over ten years since she put out an album I really loved. My number one wish for 2015 is a new Fever Ray album but I haven't heard anything about that and it's probably too soon considering The Knife your only ended recently.

I thought Peacock became a Buddhist. Not sure where I got that from but I definitely remember stories about him stopping punditry because he was moving away for some religious stuff. Maybe it's the bald head which made me think of Buddhism.

I've just caught up on some of the recent spfl highlights. All three pens that Willie Collum gave in the St. Mirren - Killie match were bad decisions. He really is such a shite ref.

It really was quite similar to the Saint Johnstone match. We dominated and should have been comfortable but things started to get nervy before we finally added the second late on. The defence was excellent for the most of the match but in the 15-20 minutes before the penalty there were a few very shaky moments. Minor complaints though after such a great run of victories. It feels so unusual that we've won so many games in a row that I think we are surely going to drop points soon but our next two games at least look very winnable so we coul be keeping top spot for a few weeks.

This is just a tired internet meme by this point isn't it? It happens any time a modern and old classic artist are linked in any way. I've seen pages with loads of comments like that in the past couple of days, there might be a few genuine ones, but most just look like blatant trolling by people who probably can't believe how easy it is to wind up old people.

Pardew is a cunt. I'm not in anyway pro newcastle but they will be better off without them. He's tricked the world into thinking he's alright when actually Newcastle have a terrible record under him except for the odd period when ridiculous individual form has saved them. Derek McInnes is a gazillion times better.

I think I've been brainwashed by Murrr. I can't believe how many arguments I've had today with people who defend him. Pete Donaldson on The Football Ramble should get some credit too but I really can't believe how much I apparently hate Pardew.

It's great that so many Aberdeen top players are extending their contracts. I've never known the club to be in such a strong position in my life. Near the top of the league, debt free, no danger of losing top players for peanuts. Too good to be true, we must lose our next three matches.
