  1. What an absolutely dreadful ripoff of Nightwish! Even the video is a ripoff of Wolf & Raven by Sonata Arctica :/
  2. Hey, whatever happened to that quite-famous gay guy in your school? I've forgotten the name now, but it seemed like everyone knew him in Aberdeen...Dalgarno or something?
  3. In front of plenty of outraged parents too...? Wasn't it a Foyer gig that you pulled that particular one off?
  4. I cannot understand for the life of me why people are happy that Calderwood's gone. The team was consistent under him, and we had a realistic chance of getting into Europe. The cup results were iffy, but I always thought that Calderwood preferred to do consistently well in the league rather than worrying about the cups. For that reason, a club Aberdeen's size can hardly complain about consistently finishing in the top 6. Calderwood's win record was also better than Paterson, Skovdahl, Alex Miller and Aitken, and only marginally worse than Willie Miller's. It's not a bad record when you consider how little money he's had to spend with Aberdeen. I fear that next season, we'll end up in a relegation scrap
  5. Surely the SPL will absolutely throw the book at Lafferty for that? Absolutely fucking shocking decision, didn't the ref think to look at his face before dishing out the card?
  6. Anyone partaking in any Eurovision drinking games? I would be, but alas, I have the hangover from hell after last night
  7. If it happens, it'll be actually worthy of being called a superfight, I suspect. I wonder if Hatton will finally fight Witter now? I wouldn't be surprised if Hatton retires now, can his ego really take such a beating and still come back?
  8. You've already been shown that ACC would be paying for part of it - but regardless of how you look at it, they want to spend taxpayers money on something that is absolutely frivolous and isn't required. The Scottish Goverment is looking at a huge budget shortfall in coming years, ACC is skint - and you think it's sensible to waste money on pointless marches? Anyway, why do they have to march down the street? Can't they just set up a load of stalls throughout the city and educate people as they wish? Much less hassle and gets them into contact with ordinary people, rather than simply bothering the vast majority of people that don't really care less. Given the fact that many high profile people behind 'anti fascism' and 'anti racism' are the same ones who seek to supress the BNP by any means - it seems rather hypocritical to talk about 'democracy' when they have no real interest in it, doesn't it? Antifa England News Anarchists Arrested After Clash With BNP Activists In East End. Just one example among many where 'anti fascists' have indulged in mindless violence to make their point. The whole 'anti-racist' and 'anti-fascist' bandwagon was stolen a long time ago by people who have no qualms about using whatever means to achieve their aims - and you think they're really interested in democracy? Wouldn't it be better to march about workers rights, seeing as they're a trade union council? Disrupting traffic/people for the sake of highlighting the crappy conditions that many workers have, protesting against the UK refusing to give up the opt-out from the Working Time Directive - this would make sense. But marching about 'anti-racism' and 'anti-fascism' is simply an attempt to score points over the Right.
  9. I went there with a female friend on one such harbour pub crawl, and you're right, tough pub my arse. Nothing scary or tough about the place, apart from the fact that it sold the cheapest vodka out of any of them. Belmont Bar was the worst pub on our crawl by miles, even the Neptune didn't do anything but bring up images of 1970's smalltown America.
  10. Who pays for the cost of policing such marches? 2100 quid seems fair enough given the disruption to traffic and the costs of looking after the march. ACC are in enough financial trouble without subsidising political movements. As for the 'democratic right' - does anyone genuinely believe that the goons behind 'anti fascism' and 'anti racism' are interested in democracy?
  11. Stay away from Isle of Arran, it's awful!
  12. Not all 8bit music is dreadful, though.. This is briliant, for instance
  13. Ah well, looks like the country has just wasted another 36k a year on one of our own.
  14. This was drama at its very best!
  15. I would say that they should be sent back here, but ridiculously, Poland has a policy of letting people appeal their sentence to the courts here if they're sent to serve time here. I don't believe for one minute that people here would see British justice as 'fair', for some reason. (having said this, Polish justice is very fair. I got caught red handed crossing on a red light and was told to 'go away' once the Police realised that I don't speak the lingo...)
  16. If it is two Polish guys involved, it's hardly surprising. I was saying to someone earlier about this and how it probably involved two Poles... Eastern Europeans have a strange tendancy to murder each other in the UK.
  17. This is absolutely amazing to watch...
  18. I always fucking hated him. Always. I used to respect you' date=' but Repo Man as world champion? Are you sure you're allright in the head? Legend
  19. Pah, I dunno what you lot are talking about. It's more than fast enough for me on a crappy 2mb Polish connection. Nice site
  20. JDS :: mobile [cheap international calls from UK mobiles with JustDialStudent] This is probably one of the cheapest ways to do it - and certainly the least hassle, I imagine?
  21. Quick update to this thread... I've just discovered a beer that seems to be local to Szczecin called 'Bosman'. Absolutely wonderful stuff, goes down very very easily - and it's definitely far better than Tyskie. Of course, it's nowhere to be found in Poznan
  22. I haven't been involved in a decent row in ages on here.... Maybe I should dig up more later-proved--accurate information about something in Aberdeen...any suggestions?
  23. What was Greigsy striking back against?

Verstappen's fire was nasty as hell as well. YouTube - Verstappen on fire Not as bad as Berger's in terms of exposure to fire, but could've easily been much worse.

    Calderwood

About time. It's nice and romantic seeing a 1st division team in Europe - but equally so, it's wrecking Scotland's coefficient to have all these small teams getting hammered in Europe. Having said this, our bigger teams either do Scotland justice or do terribly.
