feeble!
I use heavy picks.Venom, some clear red Jim Dunlops and a couple of old e.b.e plectrums.I hate thin plectrums, I hate that stupid flapping noise they make. I find it really off putting - plus I like to hit my strings hard sometimes And no, I don't break strings excessively.
shaun
i like the yellow dunlop tortex ones for playing acoustic. totally nice sound. and one of those fancy fender classic celluloid plectrums in heavy for my electric guitar. though dunlop ultex plectrums (1.0) are the best plectrums i have ever used! go out and buy them! they are fab! so i also use them. Guest Scott 5FD
i tend to go for something around 1mm. the clear pink Fender ones are nice to play with.i once had a 2mm pick i got from somewhere. it was far too heavy and really hard to play with. Spoonie
what about the 3mm stubby's. it's like using a car door instead of a pick!in answer tho, i use an orange jim dunlop in a gague they've stopped making. i've had it for about 4 years and it's still looking grand! one pick is all a man needs!i also use the pickboy carbon/nylon ones but they stopped making them too!spoons X
Hog
I use 1mm picks or 5 pence coins
feeble!
5 pence coins?Hmmm, isn't that a bit fiddly?I've never tried it - how do you play chords and stuff with that? It's the smallest coin, I'm quite curious as to how that one would work. I'll give it a go myself and post back with results.
