Guest Cowboy Dan
I'm sure they supported Modest Mouse when I saw them, if it's the band i'm thinking of they are an Irish upbeat folk band...
Guest Tam o' Shantie
if it's the same band then they're shit
cow tipper
Apartment are a London band on fierce panda. The little emo boys will hate them.Interpol fans probably won't.

Stephen
hah. they were nae bad. just not very originalnutin that bloc party cant do 10000000000000000000000x betterJ.E.W on the other hand
Inkster
I thought they were FAR better than Bloc Party et al. Just a shame they're not out now cos if they do make it then they'll just be slagged for bein similar.
nullmouse
I found them to be pretty average, to be honest. Didn't hear the Interpol/Smiths sound really, something about the singer's voice made me instantly think of a more punked up Stereophonics and I kind of lost the plot from there.Better than The Promise Ring though, at least The Apartment looked to be enjoying themselves. Alkaline
I thought they were shit.JEW on the other hand were very good.
Charlotte
Couldn't have summed it up better.I thought J.E.W. were back on fantastic form. It made my month when they played no sensitivity.
cow tipper
STEREOPHONICS?!the only similarity there is that both their singers are shortarses.i dunno. i've seen apartment a few times now so i suppose i know know the songs etc. i wasn't massively impressed first time i saw them (there's a live review on DiS from ages ago wot i dun).now i think they're grrrrrrrrrreat. nullmouse
STEREOPHONICS?!the only similarity there is that both their singers are shortarses. The guy did have a sore throat, which he apologised for. But the first time he opened his mouth and sang he did a bloody good Kelly Jones impression. Which isn't to say sounding like Kelly Jones is a good thing. Especially not a very loud Kelly Jones.Seemed to go down well with the throng of little emo boys down the front, though.
Skacel
missed most of the support act but what i saw thought they were ok, wasn't sure about J.E.W. tho, at first i thought they looked like they couldn't be arsed but then they got into it, it was good that they played some early stuff aswell. Jimmy Lucifer
I thought the Apartment were dull as mince. Just sounds like everything else kicking about at the moment. I bet NME love them.J.E.W were awesome on the other hand. "No Sensitivity" was indeed great. As were "Polaris" and "Nothingwrong".Bit of a shame they didn't play "Goodbye Sky Harbour". The live version of that song is amazing.
