Guest Cowboy Dan
It's really annoying how it's pretty much the same 4 films throughout every category...
patrick boo
The Kodak Theatre only has 58 seats, so they can't nominate too many people. I know it looks big - the walls are all mirrored. Good to see Sophie Okonedo nominated - another great British actress who has come through the tried and tested training scheme of 'The Bill' and 'Casualty'. Paranoid Android
eternal sunshine... should have a lot more nominations.
Larsen B
Finding Neverland has a lot of nominations. Why?
PrincessHolly
I thought Finding Neverland was good but probably not the film to win Johnny his Oscar.
Charlotte
I thought the Motorcycle Diaries was the best film I saw last year, but it's hardly nominated for anything. The nominations pretty much scream *blockbusters are us*
PrincessHolly
The Oscars are a farce anyway. It's all about how much free stuff a studio wants to give you in return for your vote.I can't believe that Eternal Sunshine isn't up for best directing. Paulscoconutass
Everyone knows what SHOULD be winning everything It's nice to see films like Sideways making an appearance on some of the nominations' date=' but i hate how a select few films seem to have a monopoly on everything, although, at least Lord Of The Rings isn't makin' an appearance this year [/quote']<Insert Photo Of Jenny Jones Here>
rufus13th
think you will find this thread is a duplicateReally? I did a search but couldn't find anything... I'm terribly sorry if it is a duplicate though, so mods can close if required.Anyways... Oscars last year were entertaining. I watched them live but didn't last til the end. Passed out on top of my keyboard... I've hardly seen any of the aforementioned titles.

historicrocker
I don't want Kate Winslett to win the Oscar... not that she doesn't deserve it but... it's like the music I listen to: I hate it when it becomes popular and everyone has this cheap magazine-influenced respect for it. Same with Kate Winslett, she definitely deserves some sort of respect for here acting but the Oscar has just become this horrible symbol of status which I can't stand. I hate it so much. Argh!
