Murrr
Thought the new Step Brothers was smacking, the new Silver Mt. Zion (whatever they're called these days) was gigantic, and the new Mogwai was the dullest tenner I've spent in a while. That's what I've bought so far this year. KarmaTsunami
The Warpaint album is really nice. Only halfway through but really liking it.
Alkaline
The Warpaint album is really nice. Only halfway through but really liking it.It's not getting great reviews surprisingly. I thought it was ok but the first album was so derivitive I was hoping they'd maybe put a bit more of themselves in the second and it's kind of missed the mark for me on that count. Paranoid Android
It didn't do much for me. I liked one song I heard first but the whole album was just a bit bland.

kirsten
Cheatahs finally FINALLY have an album out today. I haven't listened yet but I hope it is ace. New Mac Demarco album in April should also be good judging by the couple of new songs he's put online.
KarmaTsunami
It didn't do much for me. I liked one song I heard first but the whole album was just a bit bland. By the time I got through the whole album I still liked it, but it's a bit....eh in places. It's nice, but it didn't really do anything to stand out. I'm not making any sense now. Soda Jerk
New album from FLOOR coming this year. Here's a song from it:http://www.roadburn.com/2014/02/track-premiere-floor-war-party/ FFO Torche. FLOOR were pre-Torche. Steve Brooks brings only the mightiest of riffs.

Monster Zero
Turns out that some people who post on this forum "hate success". Good on him I say. There was a bit of a flouncy nature to his exit but he made some good points and the ensuing reaction kind of backed up his point. It would be nice if someone was to have some success without having to relocate to Southern England though....
Old Gold
It would be nice if someone was to have some success without having to relocate to Southern England though.... He only moved a few weeks ago. I don't think even the most anti-Aberdeen critic would claim that was the key to any of his success so far. Paranoid Android
He has only moved very recently though hasn't he? In fact if I remember what he said in an interview I read, I'd say it was more he was able to move because he had some success.
