Stroopy121
I want to start dabbling with the ukelele. Got one going cheap?Looking to spend 10, 15 at the absolute max. Ideally pink, or some other ironically girly colour.Condition doesn't matter as long as it's playable. Will collect from (almost) anywhere in the NE region but the nearer the city centre the better.xx
mistersticks
to be honest man you'd be better off spending a wee bit more, i bought one for 15 quid and the bloody thing won't stay in tune- the tension of the strings pulls the tuning pegs loose. particularly a pain when trying to tune it by ear. Lemonade
You can buy coloured ones on eBay for 15 quid. I bought one last month and it's fine.
FOX
Bruce Millers has them for 20. I got mine in Sue Ryder's for a cool 10, though. Plastic strings though, but does the job.
SooperKeef
I recommend the spongebob one....they suck, but a ukelele flying V? C'mon Do you need more reason to buy it.
HateEvent
R&B do some for 30. One of those with another 8 for a decent set of strings and you're sorted - most factory strings on the sub 70ish models are the primary let down.
Stroopy121
Yeah I did spot a couple of the 15 quid jobs on eBay, figure I'd chance my luck that someone here had bought one, realised they never touched it and would flog it on for 10 (saving me 5 postage).Worth a punt, eh?xx

I think it is Sue Ryder as mentioned before. Has a purple one in the window for 12 and another colour. At least there you can try before you buy and see if it actually tunes!
