Le Stu
Never eaten at IHOP. You know how segregated their shit is, I have to get my 4am short-stack from Denny's like all the other crackers!
Old Gold
I'm a great supporter of the trusty bacon/maple syrup/peanut butter/pancake combination. Reserved for special occasions.
Elizabeth
American style, with lashings of butter and Maple Syrup.Butter AND Maple Syrup? wat.I like big, thick pancakes. I eat them with Ambrosia custard or chocolate spread. Sometimes with Maple Syrup, but I think crepes and maple syrup is a better mix 'cause I'm not a huge fan of wet pancake. Reserved for special occasions.I'm with you on that. Folk who knock the meat/sugar combination just haven't tried it yet. A sausage is a nice addition too.Heard a tip for making fluffier pancakes is to seperate the eggs, whip the whites a bit then fold it into the mixture. Not tried it but seems logical. Soda Jerk
I don't know what kind of Pancakes it is I like. They are like crpe's, but thicker. Because I make them thicker. Not the fluffy, cake-like pancakes. The stodgey fried ones. Are they English? Bah. I don't even care. I have them with Jam on regardless of their origin.
