Johnny Mac
Well that was a pretty damned good concert! A 2.45 hour set although I am struggling this morning.... 4 hours of sleep just doesn't cut it anymore.... better load up on the tea this morning. Billy has a cracking middle aged spread now too. Johnny Mac
To be fair every time I've seen them he doesn't really talk to the crowd, usually just the one long rant like this week. I quite like the fact he batters on with the songs.
fertuiee
Know what you mean, they did play a tonne of songs. It was more the content of what he said, "when" he actually did say something, I found it a bit awkward. I've not actually seen them since 1995 or something so was expecting something a bit different, I guess naively expecting something a bit more nostalgic? Guess its my loss that I don't like the last 3 or 4 albums.
Woodsinho
The Aeroplane Flies High box set reissue is on Spotify. All 33 tracks of the regular one and all 90 tracks of the deluxe edition (including a 34 minute rendition of Silverfuck, which is nice). Getting stuck into the marginally less stuffed one this morning. It's... good.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
It looks like the reissue of Adore will be a 4CD +CD affair. So, I expect that means - CD1: Remastered albumCD2: Mono mix of albumCD3: Rarities, remixes and B-sidesCD4: Live stuffDVD: Live concert Fuck knows when it will actually come out though. Great bunch of ladz though. Teh b0lly said on the internet earlier this week that he's writing songs for the next Smashing Pumpkins release. TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
For a limited time you can hear the Adore version of "Let me give the World to you". http://www.smashingpumpkinsnexus.com/#!HERE-IT-TIS-LET-ME-GIVE-THE-WORLD-TO-YOU-FROM-THE-UPCOMING-ADORE-BOX-SET/c7ba/7DB5BF01-C638-4441-8603-D602BBA2FF1A I like the strings, no too sure on some of the drum fills. Woodsinho
Billy Corgan said some stuff about the past and the present and the future in an interview and I thought it was interesting so I dunno, read it maybe: http://www.stereogum.com/1698954/inside-baseball-with-billy-corgan-the-smashing-pumpkins-leader-on-adore-machina-and-the-end-of-teargarden-by-kaleidyscope/interviews/
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
New song is available to stream here: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/premieres/smashing-pumpkins-being-beige-20141020 Sounds good to me (what a surprise). Quite a melancholy, wistful pop song. Good guitar sounds as well! If the record sounds like this, I'll be pleased.
