Alamos do angular, sharp, Fugazi-esk tunes. There are links for both in the first post if you care to have an audio gander.
Jim Stax
Alamos fair pound out the fine power pop tunes. That said I haven't seen them with this new bassist;)

Guest idol_wild
It was a strangely assembled gig. Free Korps verged on absolute terrible at times. Very uninteresting. They sound like an even worse Kaiser Chiefs. Probably unintentionally.Shutter were quite good - but very generic. Seen it and heard it all before.Static In The City were not as good as I expected or wanted them to be. But I was told not to judge them on that performance, so I'll check them out again.Alamos were fantastically loud and energetic as always. Their sound was a bit duff though - the vocals were lost amongst the sheer volume of the guitar. But the songs were still there, and they possess a superb wee drummer.
