Lemonade
Bloody hell, heart attack at 22. That's pretty frightening. I guess he must have had some kind of heart defect that went undetected or something.
glennbuchan
scary stuff like,i remember something very similar happened to Marc-Vivien Foe a few years ago, he was a great player, died jogging along in a matchx
Stichman
He was a right player as well. Any word as to what caused it? I think Foe from a couple years back had some valve problem that you don't find out about till you die from it.

Camie
Quite scary how someone with his fitness and health can suddenly die of a heart attack.
Alkaline
Quite scary how someone with his fitness and health can suddenly die of a heart attack. It's not actually. Athletes put a lot of stress on their bodies these days so it's no surprise that weaknesses, especially things like heart defects, crop up as often as they do. calum
You just know if it had happened in a game against an English side the commentator would have accused him of diving, the dirty cheating Spaniard.Sad stuff
Guest Jake Wifebeater
Most brutal one was the Celtic goalie John Thomson getting a knee full-force to the head during an Old Firm match back in the 1930's. He died in hospital of a broken neck.
