Guest Satyam Shivam Sundaram
I'd say just stick with the traditional wah wah!

Ross
auto wah is ok in parts.. although i used it with a bass....and distortion...Feedback city..... although if that`s the sound you`re after then go with it..
David
auto wahs and normal wahs are quite different...on a normal wah pedal you set the amount of 'wah' by the position of the rocker, while an auto wah sets it by the strength of the signal (the harder you hit the strings, the more they 'wah')i would stick to a normal wah pedalDavid
Alan Cynic
I've never tried auto-wah, but I had a Cry Baby, and thought it was great, until my cousin"borrowed" it about 13 years ago, and I've never seen it since. I'd go with most folks in saying stick to the pedal.
Tav
I am going with the same as David. Definatly better having proper control over the pedal plus you can do things like leave it on in a certain position to create cool sounds something you couldn't do with an autowah as it would continually adjust every time you hit the strings. Aaron Gilman
are you gonna be letting some reggae music on the loose with your wah pedal?
Paulscoconutass
Nah - just kinda wanting to properly record the few funk songs i've wrote and played.... You can only really do funk rock justice with a wah kinda sound.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I use the auto wah setting on my electro harmonix worm pedal alot, but only so it's on a slow sweep. sorta sounds like a cool phaser... i've tried a q-tron which is more more suited to that funky fast wah thing... bryn
wahs are cool, the auto wah i played was shitty, waste of money id say.

Acey Trixx
auto wah is ok in parts.. although i used it with a bass....and distortion...Feedback city..... although if that`s the sound you`re after then go with it..i also use an auto-wah with distortion on a bass...but i must admit if i was actually using it in songs then i would invest in a proper wah pdeal...
