Lester Burnham 36 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 I thought the reason he didn't get booked by anyone before was because he's asking for some hideous sum plus accomidation + his solo stuff is a bitty pish.

It'll be pretty chilled and you'll get a close look at one of the U.K.'s truly brilliant songwriters!! Seriously, since it's a fairly "risk free" situation you should come down and see what's he's like. If you hate it so much you leave I'll never question another slagging of him again! Lester Burnham 36 Report post Posted September 1, 2006 Depends how much it's going to set me back. I would actually ponder it as I know a lump of people who will definately go.And yes, I think the Wildhearts are gash. They are the only big band that I've actually walked out of a gig of. I actually went to check them out because I thought i'd like them. However, yes... I may give ol' Ginger a second chance... depending on what the cost is. hot_damn 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 I saw Ginger in a car outside Kef this afternoon. He was playing 'air guitar' or something similar with his posse. He looked like he was having fun, anyway.

Norseman 5 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 Quality gig! Ginger was in fine form and great humour. Very much a Wildhearts Mk2 set with no acoustics in site, this was a loud seriously rocking Geordie metal extravaganza! Monday nights don't get much better! psydoll 11 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 Very much enjoyed, was highly amused at everyone smoking just because one ginger Geordie tells us to break the law Also was most pleasantly surprised to hear 'Eager To Leave 'Er' which was always been one of my favourite Wildhearts songs. Two thumbs up loike!
