Guest bluesxman
Not much interesting me there other than checking out what Sonic Boom is doing these days, used to listen to a bit of Spaceman 3 back in the day.
framheim
it's not terribly exciting is it? although kool keith and buck 65 will be good. the best gig looks like king creosote and adem. sonic boom could be interesting as well.

Alan Cynic
I want to see Alexander Tucker(I've 2 great albums by him!), Gravenhurst (again, got a few albums...all VG), Akron/Family (think their newest 1and the one with Michael Gira are brilliant), and Odetta...a real folk legend...saw her a few years ago in NYC..amazing presence, fantastic voice..I thought she was miles better live than on record.However...with the usual overlaps something has to be missed I want to see Keiran Hebden too. french_disko
I like this from the Triptych website......Kitchen CynicsA one-man psych-folk vanquisher from Aberdeen, Alan Davidson aka Kitchen Cynics has cultivated wry acoustic apologues and warm machine parables since the 1980s. He has propagated a slew of cassettes and albums and CDRs, while live alliances include Damon Krukowski (of Damon & Naomi) and Masaki Batoh (of Ghost).Kitchen Cynics mythological, prosaic and deadpan narratives map the universal and the personal: the sea and lasagne and fossils and love. Recalling Nick Drake, Syd Barrett and Roy Harper, Davidsons elemental inflection and elegiac emblems as evinced on current album, Tunnels (Barl Fire) are a timely reminder of his fate as a treasured, exceptional outsider idol.
