Chris
actually, having investigated it appears that tonights BBC2 schedule is being picked by Ardal O'Hanlon. So it'll just be one episode, not the whole series. So this one week only you can have your fill of patridge and Peter o'hanrahanrahan. It also explains why The Man With Two Brains is on. I thought the schedule looked a little too good.
Chris
I just took the opportunity to do a bit of digging on The Day Today and have just discovered that Steven Wells (formerly of NME) was a writer on it. One for the fact fans there.

Larsen B
T'was a good episode, particularly Patridge's observations at the race course.
