Jim Stax
holy shit' date=' thomas truax is an absolute legend, that was the greatest/funniest performance i have ever seen!! all of the supports were also brilliant![/quote']Was faboooolusssss... But I will just say that none of the acts were in fact supports. It was pretty much four headlining acts on one eclectic and brilliant bill. Top notch stuff...J
Guest MDP
you have a good point, but in my mind, truax WAS the main act!

Guest Les Stroszek
Gatechien made a mighty sound for just two, Truax was very funny and I'll be ripping off his electic fan on guitar idea!
Ollie
sadly i got too drunk for truax but all the support acts were awesome. Gatechien, holy crap!
Jim Stax
The great thing about last night was the fact that each act had their own little pocket of punters that happily listened and enjoyed all the other acts. Mr Truax, Sister Spinster, Back Beater and String thing were a fine climax to the evenings proceedings though.
Alan Cynic
I thought the whole night was great, with my high spots being Elephant Micah and Thomas Truax. I saw Thomas in Edinburgh on Saturday, and he had to fight hard to win over a very loud audience. I agree with twoback joe,- what impressed me last night was the audience's respect for the differing styles of music. I feared that after being whipped up into a frenzy by Gatechien that it would be like Edinburgh all over again, but everyone in the place seemed to be there for the music, and Thomas' set was one of his best as a consequence. PrincessHolly
That was the best gig I've been to in ages!! My mouth was open the entire time Thomas Truax was on because I just couldn't believe the stuff he was doing with what was essentially a bunch of crap. Gatechien were absolutely awesome too, was great to have a front row spot although i found confetti in my shoes this morning.
