Swingin' Ryan
Kings was last year wasn't it? Not that I'm sure. Decent list though. That's what I thought, according to some review website, it was released late 2004 in the UK and early 2005 in the US. So it was out first over here apparently. If it counts as this year then I'd definitelly put it in my top 3.
Guest bluesxman
Kings was last year wasn't it? Not that I'm sure. Decent list though.I ordered it from CD Wow beginning of this year (checked my order history to jog my memory on what was bought when) and it was definitely on my must get list, so I think it was this year as I wouldn't have been waiting since 2004 to buy. But if i'm wrong so be it....i'll have Arcade Fire's much debated UK release instead....

medichi
Isis 'Oceanic Re-Mixes'GREAT album. My choices:Clutch: Robot Hive/Exodus (after Blast Tyrant being my No.1 of 2004)The Bled: Found In The Flood (Stretching their sound and coming up trumps)Beecher: This Elegy, His Autopsy (Unbelievably great album - taking ETiD's spot in the list)Corrosion of Conformity: In The Arms of God (Classic band, back to their best)Riverboat Gamblers: Something to Crow About (Best Rock n Roll I've heard in AGES)Waiting for the new Ginger album in 2 weeks to blow this lot out the water. Maybe.
belladonnaleaves
Dunno if this has been posted already, but i'm loving this right now:Corrupted - El Mundo Frio,And i recommend "Suishou No Fune" Their self titled album this year was beautiful. Dark psych rock, male/female vocals and one totally gorgeous song in particular ("Cherry")
