  1. I'm never giving it back fella!
  2. Couldn't do it. Would give up the PRS before i'd lose the '51.
  3. http://www.instituteofnoise.com/squier51/forum/default.asp
  4. I've got one..................black pickguard and a stacked 'bucker at the neck position though. Lovely to play.
  5. Squier 51? heh Not looking to get shot of anything at the mo, that's the problem!! Lemme have a think and see if I can make room for something new.
  6. Seeeeriously tempted............
  7. I'll eventually build it, they're too sexy not to.
  8. Dunno, a stock one goes for circa £200 on Ebay - mine is in pieces but with much better parts - although I still have all the stock bits except for the pickups that Stroopy's getting. Still needs a new scratchplate (got the original to use as a template), trem block and electrics though. It's the 20th Anniversary Silver Flake one so it's Chinese built and has a 25.5 scale length. Say £150-ish?
  9. I want this: http://www.schroederaudioinc.com/products/db7/ But adding £500 on for VAT and import duty makes it hard to justify...............
  10. Close your eyes and think of the tone............it might take the pain away.
  11. Need to order a pickguard and heavier trem block and then rebuild. Got a Duncan Invader & JB4, wilkinson bridge and locking tuners for it just sitting idle. Thinking about selling it on to someone as a project though cos I don't think i'll ever really play it and it's too pretty to be the ugly sister of my guitars.................
  12. Lot of work to do to get that Jag playable I reckon - be a decent project though. The Thurston Moore sig is amazing:
  13. Mistyped original post - was a display for it not the actual thing, not out for 2 weeks. Dude in the shop said they sound amazing for the price............. I think it looks decent, had a blast through the Greta from the same range and if it's like that then it'll be a peach. Tempted to trade in my Blackstar combo for it @ R&B. Might nip in at lunchtime and negotiate.
  14. Saw poster for this in Guitar Guitar on Sat: http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/electric_amps_detail.asp?stock=11122913252658 If I hadn't bought a Vox a couple of months ago i'd have been all over it.
  15. Starcaster by Fender is a Catalogue brand. Used to be sold as starter kits with a little amp in Argos and places like that.
  16. Just stripped down my jagmaster, got two duncan designed 'buckers, the bridge and the tuners going free to a good home...
  17. Forgive me for being obvious but Miss Misery is close to the perfect pop song. Structure, lyrics and timing are exactly where they should be.
  18. Ride - Nowhere Drop Nineteens - Delaware Dead Meadows - Dead Meadows (stoner shoegaze with awesome riffs) Spacemen 3 - Playing with fire MBV - Isn't anything Monster Magnet - Powertrip or Dopes to Inifinity
  19. Yeah they're pretty solid, not quite as nice as a proper ricky but awful close.
  20. The man who sold it to me was a very generous individual, I did a google search though anhd saw some nugget selling one for £500 so i'm trying to match that. Don't think i'd ever sell it unless someone offered silly money though, or if I got the bottle up to spend that much cash on a real one........
