I dont like the new stuff at all to be honest. The whole album sounds like Warning to me. Although there are a few good songs on there the most of it is crap im afraid.

Whats wrong with Bunion? They are one of the funniest acts i have ever seen in aberdeen.

Ive been playing at the malt mill for a few years now and i must say it shits all over most places in aberdeen. The venue its self its very nicely decorated and done up and it looks good. on top of that you get a fair deal from them, you do well take in punters you will be back again and maybe for more money (which has happened to me). If you dont take in the punters and are shit you wont be back its that simple. As for the PA thing yeah they did use to charge to use theirs but since we've had our own for ages it really was never an issue with us, but i can imagine that being a bit shit. I also feel the sound out of the malt mill is pretty good as well. Fair enough you need to set up the PA yourself but that isnt hard for such a small venue and if you struggle with that then you really need to get a grip. Money wise as well you get more from the malt mill than most places pay you which is always a bonus. Has anyone noticed as well that they can tape your performance for you if you wish with the vidoe camera that points on the stage?? Always a laugh!! So yeah the malt mill is a good place to play!!!!

Dont think so at the mo. But yeah the ep is pretty good. As ive said the vocals are the strongest part of it especialy in the first two some lovely harmonies. You've obviously come a long way in the last year and you can tell in that cd. Still a lot of work to be done, but then so do we all so thats not a bad thing at all. I think if yous keep up this level of progress you will be shutting alot of people up. Keep up the good work!!

Hey i had to post to tell guys this. ive never been a big Atom fan to be honest, im not really into your guys kinda music. Well that was till i heard "truth divine"!!! What a song!! After hearing that i will make sure i am down to see Atom in the very near future. Ive since listened to most of the rest of the album and its all Fuckin deesc!!! i know this is a pointless thread but hey i just wanted to tell you guys anyway!! cheers.

Point songs Theres a few aberdeen bands on purevolume have a look.

But would you say they are the most influencial? Sure to punk/pop punk whatever then maybe yeah, but to more metal kind of music you wouldnt think so. Its a hard one definatley, i would say maybe Nirvana but then someone else will say they are shit so it depends on what youve listened to i suppose. Different people will think differently about it

If you dont like it fine, personaly i dont mind "new wave emo" (does that make more sense since people have a problem with TBS ect being called emo) i like some of the vocals and melodies. Also some of the guitar riffs FFAF are metal anyway but of course they cant be because then that would mean all these metal heads might like something about it. (fuck imagine that) Get over it guys if you dont like it leave it.
