  1. Not really, I think all of the above albums are special. The artists involved captured lightning in a bottle and made something above and beyond what was expected. Not 'special' but a perfectly acceptable pop punk CD with a few surprises. I'm still proud of this release. "Swallow This, Punk!" does exactly what it says on the tin - it's no better but it's definitely no worse than some of the "big bands" of the time. For me "0% Attendace, 100% Punktuality" by Quik is an example of a PERFECT CD. You can not fault it because it works on every level. "Swallow This, Punk!" Download the whole fucking thing.. I doubt an Aberdeen band will ever release a pop punk CD that tops it... unless it's us.
  2. Point of Origin must be up for an award. Most enduring piece of shit pop punk band in Aberdeen.
  3. Put a little thought into it, and try to keep the image sizes around 300x300 or we'll be here all day.
  4. This sounds decent, I'm gonna try make this.
  5. Okay, this is a bit cheeky, but if you'd like to support Point of Origin on twitter just click this link and when your twitter page opens press "update". Twitter Many thanks Robert
  6. They're not paying to perform, they're paying for advertising. Big difference.
  7. This girl is amazing! Also, she keeps her clothes on so it's safe for work. (Depending on your boss)
  8. This is one the best self-deprecating posts I have ever read. Pure comedy gold.
  9. What's everyone's twitter accounts? Mine is: Robert David Knight (bobb4you) on Twitter My band: Point of Origin (poouk) on Twitter Share yours.

Aye, Morena Baccarin has really become the Sci-Fi babe of choice. Firefly, Stargate SG-1, now.. V. She is SOOO fit though. Looking slightly moody as Adria here:
  11. I've just started doing some recording and this is my first attempt - not so much a triumph in sound quality or production, but a personal triumph in figuring out how the blumin' machine works - couldn't even burn a CD off it at first. Haha. First Home Recording Anyway, hope you enjoy the song at least.
  12. I don't think its relevant. If the guy has made a record before his passing away releasing that work is the right thing to do by his family and for his fans. I think you'd have to be a bit mental to call it a money-grabbing 'opportunity'.
  13. Will Richards on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads Discovered this guy from Wakefield today and thought his music was worth sharing. Although his stuff is pop/acoustic, the top track "I'm a Superhero" has a cool country-esque vibe to it and another has a nice bit of slide/blues guitar. He seems to explore a variety of styles and execute them all very nicely.
  14. Just a casual note to say that if you fancy coming past JP's University Bar & Grill tomorrow night that both myself and Bob Will of Right Hand Left will be doing half hour acoustic spots. The night is hosted by JJ from 10 Easy Wishes and kicks off @ 9.
  15. I've not rated the bulk of their work since Deja Entendu.
