The first band (Wetflex) were really entertaining. I'm definitely intrigued by Crooked Little Vein. I think they were plagued with problems on the guitar but I admire bands who battle through. I'm quite looking forward to seeing them again as they sound like they have a load of potential.

With the few gigs I've promoted I have never let a girlfriend in for free for any local support because the we organised things, the bands were usually making a good bit of cash off the tickets they sold. Headlining bands I don't think should be coming in on the night and asking for x number of guestlist passes without organising it before hand but if the guys are cool about it I usually dont mind. It is quite annoying though, this girlfriend issue that has been pointed out. I stop every one at the door to pay because if people dont even have the courtesy to ask, then why should we be out of pocket for a girlfriend who quite often leaves after said boyfriends set ends? I'm a bit hypocritical though as I tend to be on a lot of guestlists to review the shows for my website, but I always try my best to give shout outs to the promoter and advertise the gig as much as possible. Again, if the promoter was out of pocket come the end of the night I'd be more than happy to pay the costs of a ticket.

Devastated I can't come to this. Should be a great gig. Brides are a great band and the support looks really good.

Can't wait for this. The first time I attended their gig they played far too late as I needed to catch a bus back to Peterhead. The second gig I was supposed to go to was scuppered by holidays. THIS TIME I WILL NOT BE STOPPED.

Still trying to see if I can make this. Not a massive fan of Flood Of Red but want to give Xcerts a second chance to impress as I didn't like their set at the FFAF gig. If I do go I shall be reviewing it so will post linkage here.

Trash Talk have some good music but the fact you can't take your mind off this prick kicking faces and being an utter twat makes it impossible to actually focus on the live sound. I realise that sentence is a mouthful...

I'm waiting for their party to give the go ahead, but as far as I'm led to believe it's fine. Hence why they have it up on their MySpace, but yeah, the best person to fully confirm will be Hen as he's the one putting it on!

Yeah, so stoked this is going to happen. I'm giving the promoter a hand in getting this through so hopefully it will be confirmed this week if things go smoothly. Massive thanks to Hen for getting this running though!

Nice wee gig mate. I'll be there to support my boys in 11:11, but the two bands headlining are pretty good too. I urge everyone to check them out!

I've been offered a spot on the bands guestlist for this, but don't really like Flood Of Red at all. I haven't heard the new record mind you and it's supposed to be quite different from their old stuff. Support looks alright though, a bit gutted Lower Than Atlantis pulled however.

Second time I've seen them now and both times have been superb. A favorite band of mine, can't wait to see them with Oceansize. Got a song dedicated to myself to. Get in!
