Yep, I would say he is right enough but there is usually a reason for it. Big bands don't come cheap and I would imagine that a lot of promoters try to book the bands that bring the most kids in to try recoup the costs as much as possible. It's getting the balance right that is the key I think. I'd hate for one of my favourite bands to come and end up with no crowd as all the kids leave when their mates band finishes. I hope you don't think that about this support line up. I'm very, very happy with it. Announced in an hour or so once I get final details done!

Sadly I didn't get the option to book any of them two tour packages. Both would have been great! I will have support bands (unfortunately for you) but I'm trying not to have the same old same old people come to expect. The band themselves expressed they would like quite a varied line up rather than the "power metal support" they seem to get elsewhere. Hopefully you dig some of it dude. It should be a great night.

Compared to Sonisphere, this line up is so pathetic. I mean, Def Leppard only headlined two years ago and dont even appeal to the same kind of crowd the other bands in the bill appeal to, so it just stinks of sheer desperation to me. Linkin Park too. I've been twice and have no problems whatsoever. I've always got along well with neighbouring campers and will be going back again this year. I just got back from the launch event in Glasgow. Needless to say, Mr Ellis came across to be genuinely excited about the line up. I think it's the best T has had in a long time.

I must agree with you dude, although I tend not to care much for what a band looks like, rather how they perform and sound. Don't be fooled by what's on the slider at the moment, that shit changes every couple of days. Yesterday you would have found Mogwai and Japanese Voyeurs there! Yo dude, a digital copy would be brilliant. I prefer physical copies because I'm old school like that but I'm getting so much stuff, it's easier now to organise it digitally! So many bands say "this is our heaviest record yet" and they usually are speaking utter bullshit. I'm so glad that this song suggests the Foo's are living up to their word. Looking forward to the new album now because this sounds huge.
