Just a day over a fortnight until this. I was in Tunnels 2 seeing Hounds the other night and looking at the room, this show is going to be off the fucking hook in such an intimate venue. This show was so awesome. The line up was tight as hell. The support bands properly suited the headliner which for a band like Maybeshewill, totally made the whole evening that bit better. I'm properly in love with TheWetflex. They just seem to be improving with every show. One of the next gigs TheWetflex will be playing is one of the shows I'm putting on with Talons. Bought new albums from Thursday, letlive., and Rise Against at One Up the past couple of weeks. Also got a copy of the Xcerts album, finally. I hate keeping shitty promo downloads so it's great to get some albums I really dig when reviewing.

Just under a month until this show. Advance tickets have been selling well but we still have plenty of tickets at One Up and online so grab yours now. Retract The Accolade and Entrosolet also have tickets so if you want to avoid booking charges just get in touch with one of the bands.

We don't have a lot of tickets left at One Up so if you want to get yours in advance, I'd head over there soon. Heights are going to be releasing a new album soon and have just confirmed they'll be playing some new songs off of the record at this show. It's also the first show Grader will be playing in Aberdeen since signing to Thirty Days Of Night Records. AWESOME.

You're so right mate. I would hate to be at a rock show that was full of twenty somethings standing there watching. I'm one of those twenty somethings but I enjoy seeing a gig where kids are having fun. You're also right in your last sentence. I've noticed that half the people who complain about a lack of good gigs in Aberdeen never actually go to gigs. Lets just let the music scene sort itself then yeah? Silly!

I believe the Japan fundraiser is on tomorrow so I'm going to try get along to some of that to hopefully catch Entrosolet. The event is below if you're a Facebook wanker like myself. Quick question to those in charge. Has this feature in the above post been implemented yet? I created a thread in the Gigs forum, and after that created an event for the calendar. It said in there that the event would be added to the forum automatically which is strange, because what is then the point in allowing people to create a thread in the "Gigs & Events" forum? I'm probably being retarded but just a bit confused as of how it works. Secondly, how often is this moderated for new events? I posted an event more than 24 hours ago now which still hasn't gone live. It's no big deal in this case but I'd imagine for an event which is in the near future, it would be extremely frustrating. It is a bit frustrating however when I see mods for that forum commenting on other posts while my gig still sits in a dark corner!
