Went to school with the guy, know his old man quite well and played in the same footy team as his brother for years. Stuarts a knob end, always has been. Once walked across the middle of the stage at school during assembly, yelling 'Sorry folks, time is money and all that...' trying to be the funny cool guy but coming across as a wanker. Also had some serious infatuations with girls I know, they were quite scared of the guy in a he-seems-harmless-but-sitting-outside-my-house-in-his-car-is-freaking-me-out kinda way. His brother is a fud as well. Weird thing is though, their dad is the kindest, friendliest and most easily excitable man I've ever met, used to coach us at footy and was so enthusiastic about everything...

Theres heaps of good soccer on sky this summer - Under 21 Euros, Confeds Cup on BBC, Toulon Tournament on Eurosport, then we get into the pre season crap in July, Emirates CUp, Amsterdam Tournment, pretty sure theres a Wembley Cup or something this year as well with Rangers in it. - no doubt Murdersmell's european exit to some finnish mob will be on BBC Scotland! splendid background telly for a bit of Champ, plus the added bonus of random names you can search for to find hidden gems!

It was actually in 'Le Tournoi' the year before France 98 - essentially the same space in the calendar that the confederations cup takes up, but before the CC was in its current format. Park is a completely replaceable player. Hargreaves won't be missed as shown this season. Scholes is a big wage, but not a first XI player anymore, a bit of investment may be needed unless SAF fancies Gibson to take his place in the squad. Red Nev can go as far as I can see, Brown, O'Pies and Rafael is plenty cover for RB. Berbatov will require a substantial bid again to get him shifted and any suitor will have to match or improve his wages to get him to move. It may be the right time for United to freshen up the squad a bit, and the 80m will go a long way to doing that. The board have already suggested today that all the money will go into the transfer kitty. Dont know if I can see Fergie splashing out on foreign superstars, its not something he's tended to do with great success in the past. If Fergie is going to spend big (20m + bracket) it will normally be on someone who has proved they can play in the Prem (Rio, Rooney, Berba, Tevez (if the buy) etc) but he's only ever really splashed out on Veron and to an extent Ronaldo/anderson/nani from abroad. Most of his foreign signings have been low key players that he's done hsi homework on and end up being bargains at around the 7-10m mark ie Evra, Vidic, Silvestre (to a point)

the more you play, the more people will hear you... if you're just starting out, play any and every gig you can! make contacts with promoters, booking guys, venues in general. if you're more established, be more selective of the gigs you play - ie if you're offered gigs regularly, consider the venue, bill, slot and calendar before agreeing to it, but dont turn it down 'cause its in aberdeen'. Or is that just too sensible?
