  1. Would you have put a tenner on us getting to the Semi final? considering the horrific draws we've had? Brechin away, Motherwell away, Celtic then Rangers! And Falkirk end up playing in Europe as reward for beating Dunfermline. No justice!
  2. Fixed it for you But yeah - I went to bed last night to watch MOTD2 on BBC2, only to find highlights of Falkirk v Dunfermline. Had to get up again to watch MOTD2 on BBC2 Englandshire on my Sky box. An inconvenience, but certainly one that can be negotiated.
  3. ee ii, sae it is,,, Theres a session on Northsound tonight at 8pm promo-ing this release if anyone is interested!
  4. Think you're being a bit harsh on UoK here Milner, they've been strung along something rotten by their record label from what I've seen, first hand I may add. The apparent lack of activity was not by choice either as far as I'm aware.

I have Beautiful Ones by Suede on a single...and a comprehensive collection of scratched Ocean Colour Scene cds. My rates are reasonable 8-)
  6. We had a limited amount of CD's with us as its not been released as such yet. Sold around 35 which was a not bad effort.
  7. QUOTE=Exposure @ Lemon Tree;740361]Nice een Dave. I think places round about could be doing with seeing more live music. Our gig in New Deer went superbly well in comparison to The Tunnels last week. The fact of the matter is there's bollocks all to do in New Deer of a weekend, so sticking on some live music pulled the punters in. I'd imagine it was much the same with you guys in Peterhead. Add to the fact that you guys are actually very good will have helped too
  8. A wee note on how this went: Doors clicked through 220 punters, all 3 acts were well received by an appreciative crowd. The bouncer commented to me that he didnt 'fancy our chances' as friday nights in Mambos are hit and miss and its usually free, charging 3 would make it harder. By the end of the evening he was running the door himself and seemed fair impressed with the number of folk who turned up to see something a bit different for a change - no argy bargy either crowd wise. All in all, a resounding success! We'll be speakin to Mambo's in the next few days about running this regularly, no promises yet but hopefully we can get something up and running so anyone who's interested should get in touch either via here or IRL myspace.
  9. Bring yer duncin shoes! This is TONIGHT kids! Get on it. Fill. Yer. Beets.
  10. Cool man, be good to see you there. We're on about 11 if that helps you any with time scale?
  11. Went to Roskilde last year, and quite frankly will never go to T in the Park as a fan again! The whole scale and organisational difference between the two festivals is unbelievable. Dont think I seen a burger or hot dog the whole time I was in Denmark - except for the Boogi Burger which takes about an hour to eat, its huge! All the stalls had Chip & Pin facilities, Draught Beer could be bought freely without having to queue for tokens and all that nonsense, at a reasonable price as well, plus a swimming lake, cinema, supermarket and designated train station where you can leave the festival and nip into town for a few hours etc made the whole thing brilliant. Apart from the line up tho We bought tickets based on the initial headline announcement of Radiohead, and the previous years packed roster of awesomeness, only to be slightly disappointed by the announcements that followed. There were a fair amount of decent acts, but not once at the whole event did I have to choose between sacrificing one act to go see another. THis years line up looks pretty decent tho, minus the headlines 8-) ETA: Wizard this year is my only festival pencilled in, but then its like half an hour from my house max so why the hell not!
  12. They've got a live session thats repeated quite a lot on Sky Channel M just now. Can't say I was all that impressed tho...
  13. Yeah they were done down at lofi in glasgow with Craig and a guy called Bruce Rintoul who recorded all the Twin Atlantic & Jocasta Sleeps stuff. Sound pretty decent, well worth doing! Moshulu it is, I'm well lookin forward to that gig!
  14. Moshulu May 2nd or if ye dare to 'heed it, Mambo's April 17th. I suspect Moshulu...
  15. Yeah man good stuff, come down and check the gig out next weekend and see what you think. Like I say, theres heaps of potential in the place and a huge catchment area around Peterhead - when you consider the amount of bands kicking around its crazy that there aint a venue for them to play their own stuff unless they trek to Aberdeen. The trek to Aberdeen is no hardship for the band if they really wan to start gigging, but its tough for them to draw a crowd!
  16. glad you liked em bud... now, when you gonna show up at a gig eh? eh? EH?!
