Funny People was good but too long. Was great seeing Sandler watch old stand up tapes, and hating all the commercial kid friendly stupid voice stuff he's doing. I thought, hey, maybe this is a turning point. No. Film after that was the one where he played his twin sister or some shite. And then they re did the "Seth rogen is best friends to cancer guy" in 50/50 and made a better film.

The Warriors - One of those "great" films you tell everyone to watch because it's so great. Then turns out to be horribly dated when you watch it with them and you feel horrible self loathing and embarrassment for bigging it up so much. The re-release with the comic strips and director intro helps explain the campiness of the whole affair. But seriously, scariest gang is the baseball furies and they go down after one punch each. Also, i kept getting the feeling the warriors were supposed to be late teens or something but actors all look about 40. 'Bop'. 'Lizzies'. 'Rembrandt'. I couldn't dig it. I didn't count. 5/5 for nostalgia. maybe a 3/5 for the film. just made me want to play the far superior ps2 game.

Pictures. Do people not look at pictures on gumtree? one of the wee knobby things was missing off an acoustic bass i was selling. this was visible in the picture and mentioned in the post. the bloke drove up, looked at my bass, then said "nahh its too much work" and left. so i went to R'n'b, spent about a quid on the wee knobby thing and sold it to ii instead. done. Got less than i was asking for ('cause ii need to make a profit, i watch pawn stars, i know how this shit works) but there wasn't umming and ahhing and fannying about. i even haggled a new set of strings on top of the price ii gave me. I happily sell things for less than they're worth just to avoid dealing with the public. i hardly ever sell games privately. just trade them in to buy new ones. people are shit unless they're behind the till with a computer telling them what stuff's worth.

DEAFHEAVEN - New Bermuda Punishingly heavy then beautifully mellow. Can't tell if it's better than Sunbather. But it's damn good.

Got Uncharted 4 with my new PS4. Loved it. Went and got the Nathan Drake collection and completed all 3 in a week. On a Naughty Dog binge so I'm currently depressing myself like fuck doing The Last Of Us again.

Grader - Wholly Fantastic EP. Absolutely love this new direction. A little sadder listening to this after yesterday's news. Metal Gear Solid V - The Lost Tapes Companion album to the OST. Made up of the tapes that can be found around MGSV's open world. Sadly not the ace chart hits of the 80s, but the original music made for the rest of the tapes. Still a pretty decent wee collectable and the music is all cool 80s inspired synth tracks. Mainly bought it so I can have a tape and make the ending of the game feel more real. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

the wee chubby guy with the blue hat was in the paper for doing a begbie and launching a pint glass in to a pit that fucked a girls face up. i'm all for a slam dance and for me the mo$hpit is like snowball fights at school. you're on the grass(in the pit) you can't get too mad about getting a snowball (spin kick) to the chops. but crowd killing is for fannies. notice the girl who starts laying in to a guy and he puts his hands round his head signifying to all his bros that it isn't friendly punches like the friendly punches he laid in to someone just trying to watch a band.

I meant generic metal. nae yer stupid milion different variations. basically they could give the likes of maiden and metalica etc a run for their money on the heavy front. loads of chugging and that i know nails or whoever are obviously heavier but you'd be heavy too if you just smashed all the instruments as hard you could lol went out and bought Self Defence Family. the one with the deer on the front. its nae very heavy and i thought they would be heavy but I'm enjoying it. not as much as the piss yellow variant of justin beiber - where are u now. that's a cracker.

It's funny 'cause I'd say season 10 was probably the same level of call backs. this one's more meta and they're not quite grasping that concept. speaking of meta, forgot how great South Park Season 19 is. rewatching that, as those of you who have me on facebook probably noticed. I hope we see more of the same in september.
