THE TUNNELS PRESENTS WITH SPECIAL GUEST KENNY HAWKES Kenny (Brighton) started DJing at 18 and DJ'd in clubs around Southern Europe. In the 90's he came across pirate radio station 'Girls FM' where he became station manager. 'Girls FM' went on to become the the most ledgendary underground music station in London boasting DJ's including one of Kenny's friends and fellow resident DJ's at Space Bar Rhumba, Luke Solomon which they ran for 7yrs. Since then he has DJ'd internationally across the world and of course producing many classics including Ashleys War, Sleaze Walking & (my fave!) Play the Game featuring Louise Carver. Most recently Kenny has paired up with David Parr producing insanely catchy electronic house music, crossing the electro deep- and tech-house divides for Rekids, Arcobaleno and 20:20 Vision. His sets always have an air of quality, flowing through different styles of music modern soul - jackin house - minimal tech - Detroit techno and mark him as a true house DJ with depth and soul. Cheers Rockaustin had some superb nights doing Girls on Top and miss it quite a bit, thanks to Mo & Amanda for the opportunity! Had some decent nights in Snafu and hats off for bringing some superb DJ's something which wasn't happening too much in the Deen area, also the bands & comedy nights which are also pretty decent, something many clubs in Abdn have is variety

Partied with GLC backstage in Barrowlands sound guys good laugh, didn't stay for more than few hours as Subclub was calling! Sat next to Minder and eat at the table across from Ronnie Corbett in the Gavin Hastings golf thingy

Feck yeah Last King of Scoltand was really good Another for me was Blood Diamond, I cried for a minute.....o_O

can't remeber all the films seen this year, but there is a few I though were superb and one which sticks out for me is the 300

bit like most 80's programs :D yet didn't put us off!

Looking forward to South Central and the arctics on Sat!

Loved Lost Boys, but think Lost boys 2 will propbably be a poor show - some films should be left to be a one off!! i.e. butterfly effect

I got a full season on DVD last year for xmas, brings back memorys!
