    Irvine Welsh

First introduced to him by my Pop who read Trainspotting and recommended to me (prior to the film), loved it, dark, gritty and altho fictional, you can totally imagine this type of thing happening in Scotland. I've just finished 'Bedroom secrets' altho funny and funked up, not as good as Trainspotting/Porno in my eyes. Tried to read Glue, but just couldn't get into it properly (think it's cause I had a massive copy!) Saw Marabou Stork Nightmares in the Theatre and it was ace everyone in tears laughing, then wham hits you with the disturbing gang bit...the whole theatre just silence - nae nice scene, but again these things happen, so why not have your eyes open to it? Still to read If you love... and Crime...might go look for that now!
