  1. Yeah similar things have happened with the group saver ticket. A girl a work with, her mum was charged 38 single for a trip back from glasgow because one of the party decided to get a lift instead of the train. So they'd paid their 40 for the group ticket and then 2 of them had to pay the same again. It's ridiculous. Surely if you've got a ticket and the money has been paid then what's the big deal! Maybe it depends on the ticket inspector!!
  2. Yes, but I'm sure for many of us we have no idea what you're speaking about! I'm first in that queue and it's not making the thread as enjoyable to read anymore...
  3. I'm just listening to the first album again - first time in ages and I forgot how good they are!! I might have to consider this one now!
  4. You know that it's only because my music taste is far superior to yours! :P Also...Overnight this has all got rather technical! I have no idea what you're all speaking about.... Lol. I merely enjoy having a physical copy of the music I listen to and going into a music shop for a browse. Browsing online doesnt have the same effect - I find myself guessing what a band might sound like or myspace searching them. Whereas - go into a shop, sometimes the art work can help and you can always ask someone or get a listen.
  5. That's the most annoying thing ever... And if you go on the phone relatively calm and ready to face a computerised woman going "press number 1 for..." you end up enraged by the time you actually speak to someone. So in actual fact companies like BT etc have only got themselves to blame for getting customers irate. I remember phoning someone once and listening to Good Charlotte (I think it was the Carling Academy) and also phoning somewhere else where Jack Johnson was playing... I think they were hopeful that his surfy tones would calm me! Didn't work! Lol.
  6. Me too... He's such a frustrating player... Alan Hutton he isn't!
  7. Why would I judge?! You're quite entitled to think so!
  8. How pessimistic! Although, I may be eating those words come half 9ish on Thursday night!
  9. I'm not entirely sure about that. I've only been here 4 years, so you'd have to clarify.
  10. I've had similar kinda chat in OneUp where I've bought something and been told that they're playing or that it's a good choice and general comments on the album that I've bought. I've always found the service to be pretty good... The feeling that they usually know what they're talking about and that they enjoy what they're doing always makes me want to buy the music I do from OneUp. Simple as that really. Going into larger chains or supermarkets I don't get that feeling and if I was to ask a question I think I'd be worried about the look I'd get! Lol.
  11. Haha. That horrible feeling won't happen until I'm there!! My poor mum queued for an hour and a half in the freezing cold on Saturday morning to get tickets! I feel bad! (well... not really.... she offered! lol.)
  12. Indeedy!! That's fine by me.
  13. Nope. But as I'm a social work student I've seen that people will try anything for a 'bit of help' or some attention! Including Jeremy Kyle.
  14. Hahahahaha. That is entirely possible! Do you know that people who appear on Jeremy Kyle actually don't get paid for it. They get cheap accommodation in London plus a 20 food voucher, which doesn't get you that much in a city like that!! Plus their lives end up way messier than they were before... Just a little insider information!
  15. I think it'll be interesting. Not particularly keen on either of them to be honest. However, I have this thing for Liverpool in Europe. I don't know what it is. They just... they just seem to manage it everytime! Hopefully it'll be a good exciting game!! I am however more excited about my trip down the road for the UEFA Cup semi-final. Even though I feel a severe beating may occur!
  16. How creepy... It's like something off of Hollyoaks! It's actually
  17. Yup!! That's exactly what I want to know... Surely it's best to have as many cheap seats as possible to fill it up. I understand the whole rush hour thing, but for the rest of it. It's just a bit rubbish!
  18. Well, ticketweb says that they still have tickets. So I presume so.
  19. Yeah, I'm going to Glasgow on Thursday on the train with the 20 ticket, which I am totally happy paying. I only booked mine on Saturday, however I can't get the train back that I wanted because the ticket isn't available so I'm having to wait until later at night. The Megabus is ok if it's just me on my own. You know - ipod + book and the hope that no one sits next to me and I'll be fine. Generally, the service provided by the staff in the stations is the problem. Going in and asking a simple question and not getting a suitable response is the main problem. How difficult is it to check on their system (which is just identical to the online booking one) and tell you train times and prices? I also think its good customer service to suggest alternatives i.e suggesting different times etc for cheaper tickets rather than - that's not available. Maybe they just dont get paid enough! Lol.
  20. You actually sound like you're on a mission to see this girl!! Haha. I say the best bet is to stand outside the registry office in Arbroath and you might see her...
  21. Hahahaha. That's shocking... But you gotta feel for her she must be one insecure young woman or maybe she's just addicted to marriage!
  22. I can't wait for this. Wonder if many tickets have been sold! It's about 8 more than when I saw him in the Lemon Tree.
  23. I would love to take the train every time I make a trip back to Glasgow, but the hassle of getting tickets and the rising cost puts me off... So I sacrifice an hour and some comfort and take the Megabus. Surely if tickets were cheaper, and rules were a bit more flexible First Scotrail could have something good going on.
