This is true. But it depends on what you personally feel comfortable with. I feel comfortable around "the retards that spill out of exodus, the tunnels and drummonds etc" but I don't feel comfortable walking home and having to by-pass people who have come out of Liquid, Pearl Lounge etc etc.

I couldn't really care less about how they dress etc, what I do care about is that a minority are ruining things for other people. He has a pretty decent second half indeed... that I didn't really see because I was sittingon the other side of the pitch. First half Broadfoot was the most frustrating - passes going to a red shirt everytime. Papac deserves some praise though for his second half perforance (couldn't tell in first half - opposite side of the pitch). Nope, we didn't have a single shot, but I actually felt really proud of the team at the end. Haven't had that nervous feeling before a game in a long time! Fiorentina were defensive too so I think it might be pretty even next week too! My fingers and toes are crossed.

I find this really strange. Would be handy to know what gig tickets they've got on sale etc. Because I'd much rather take a wander down Belmont St to buy my gig tickets and only pay 10% booking fee rather than the nonsense that seetickets and ticketmaster add on. I've went in before and asked politely if they've had tickets that I'm looking for and got a "is it on that list?"... Well, if it had been on the list I wouldn't have asked in the first place, but I'm one of those people who always asks just in case. They don't have to have an online shop but surely even the most basic of information would increase profile, particularly for visitors to the city... who are doing what we do when we go to Glasgow/London/insert other city.

Totally agree. It goes without saying that the only way to cope on any form of public transport is to do the above.

You're lucky. Rowdy families who can't keep their kids under control, loud neds who think it's ok to play their stupid music through their phones, posh kids who take up about 6 seats for two of them and all their designer bags... the list is endless! It took me 5 hours to get to Glasgow once on the Megabus.... detour via Arbroath where the driver promptly got lost! Yup... not cool. Usually it's ok. So I take it instead of the train, this time though... I've got uni work to do, so need the table and space on the train for my laptop! And the price at the last min wasn't that different. Only an extra 4 for the train so I don't mind that.

I'm not asking you to. But the whole point of this was to discuss why people thought independent music shops etc were on the general go slow with sales. Not the ins and outs of the difference between mp3s and cds and whatever other technological nonsense you've been speaking about. Hence the suggestion further up that it be moved. The whole point of the thread has been lost slightly with the constant handbags over who knows what about whatever it is you're speaking about.
