    FA Cup Final

It was never a penalty. Giggs knew it, he was appealing for the goal, which wasn't a goal because he battered into Cech. We're missing the real issue anyway - that was just about the miss of the season.

    Hi-hat?

Denied. Cymbals are of more pressing concern, I can get by with my current stand, or so the drummer assures me. Thanks anyway.
  3. Jackson Browne - Sky Blue and Black
  4. Ned must die. I hate Ned. Or Lolly, who grew 13 years in age in 3 years real time. In more shocking news, after tonight's episode, I fear Carmela might be dead. I'm crying. Really. Anyway, the real question on everyone's lips - Who's the fittest girl in Neighbours?
  5. He's a thick shit, he probably actually thought they would let him go. Even if he did go, he'd be miles from the most dangerous areas, and he'd have huge protection. Anyone who seriously believes they would treat him as an "ordinary" soldier isn't so wise. As people have said, he'd be a huge trophy for any self-respecting insurgent, and would put his men's lives at risk too. As an aside, don't you think people saying "Tony Blair killed my son" are idiots? It's called the army. Fighting is their general reason for existing. If Joe Bloggs' son really really didn't want to risk dying, he should have applied for a job at Specsavers. It doesn't matter if the war was justified or not - the army is dangerous.
  6. We all know Vegans dont consume animal produce. I think he meant he was having trouble seeing what is so inhumane and cruel about yoinking some milk from a cow...

    Hi-hat?

    I need a Hi-hat. Please. I don't care if it's crap, I dont have much money anyway.
  8. I know the feeling. The Brakes? And Brakes Co-op? Turin Brakes? So many brake
  9. Fife? A Par? Or the Blue Brazil...
  10. Yeah, underground to Hillhead is the best bet. The underground shuts at half 11 or thereabouts, but buses run right through the night from University Avenue.
  11. D2 has some decent jackety things. I think.
  12. Bell X1 - Eve, the apple of my eye
  13. 15 Bud Ice 8.99 at Somerfield. Or Lidl.
  14. Bright Eyes - You will. You? Will. You? Will.
  15. Your plan would probably give dire quality unless you have a really good microphone. Even then, if your guitar work is anything more than basic strumming it won't pick it up unless it's an instrument mike, in which case your vocals will sound poor. Then again, by pooor I mean not crystal, which could be what your going for - that kind of rough sound mind work if its just acoustic stuff. You're better off having a mic for the vocals and an instrument mic for the guitar - that should pick up some of the decent sounds in the room, and for you preferable to plugging the guitar straight into the four track. But even that might lose the "sound" of the room. Your best bet is probably to invest in a cheap four track, vocal and instrument mics, a couple of stand, and just mess around to see what sounds best. I've got some sweet acoustic sounds with a couple of crappy microphones and an emty room before. My four track is a Korg D4, does the job nicely KORG.co.uk :: D4 Digital Recorder I've had it for a while, it really does the job for recording some basic tracks. Or, you could go for something computer based, my mate has a Mackie Spike, which only has two inputs but you can obvioulsy piss around with the final sound a lot more. Mackie - Spike You can get either of these for about 100, and a couple of microphones shouldn't be too much, but it's worth buying decent ones. It'll pay off.
  16. I know Rennet is more Organic, I was making two seperate points. The percentage of wastage from farms is already being adressed by the European CAP which is a load of shite, but is doing more to tackle agricultural overproduction that going Organic ever will. The reason these modern farming methods were developed was to stamp out diseases and increase growth. Why take a backward step? That's like trading in my car for a horse and cart.
  17. So true. If you exercise enough, you can basically eat anything.
  18. Haha. S'true. About the Organic... I hate Organic. Organic can die. Why, why, why do it? The reason these fertilisers and chemicals have been invented is to improve productivity - because countries are quite big. If we all went back to growing a couple of mouldy tatties and crappy little carrots, everyone would die of hunger. I'd happily eat Rennet for breakfast every day of my life than have Organic food. It's largely become a stupid idea dreamt up by some city-bound idiots who like the notion that they are doing the nice wildlife a favour, rather than being a real lifestyle choice. Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favour of natural ingredients and cutting out on man-made ingredients, but everyone eating Organic is unrealistic, idealist and a bit silly. I'm all in a fluster now.
  19. I certainly did. I was chuffed, have a bit of a soft spot for the Rams, they give me an outlet in English football apart from just hating Man Utd. Looking like West Brom in the final. I bloody hate West Brom.
  20. Yeah, if you listen to Radio 1. Anyone with half a brain could write something "deeper" than McFly or Westlife. It's nothing to boast about.
  21. Maybe Rennet will make it taste nicer? Personally, I love the sweet, sweet taste of Calf stomach lining...Mmmm
  22. When Tevez and Mascherano EVERYONE knew it was dodgy. It's a bit like Ronaldo singing up for the Pars tomorrow. That said, I was happy they didn't get points docked. Sheffield are so unbelievably BORING.
  23. Yeah, I thought we were all over it. That was the worst day of my footballing life, closely followed by watching us lose to Hanfnavargeratuyifiljski in the Uefa Cup a while back... I saw that story, but won't St.Johnstone just come up instead? Still, if there's anyone who can whinge for all we're worth, it's Yorkston, truly the moaniest basatard in the world. Love it.
